Hurray for being shafted by Battrick! 4/25 in the final 5 overs.

Fighting Mongooses 6/307 (50.0)
Whaley 116
Barton 68
Browne 66
Dodge 48 n.o.
Hulse 3/50

Playing my OD rivals today...Didnt start well:
0.1 W Wiese to Gayle
Tries to force onto the off side, but the ball moves into him and it's nicked onto middle stump.

But I got some good small partnerships to go with Bennett, and then my star player kicked on to make 150!
49.4 1 Wiese to Bennett
Guided it away fine past leg slip for a single.
Thats his 150. A fine knock.
End of Over 50: 283-6, runrate=5.66
Wiese 10-1-39-4
Bennett* 150 (145 balls)
Corcoran 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Nelsen c. Mckie b. Wiese 0 (FOW: 283/6)
Not a bad total at all, Im playing on a Dusty pitch by the way.

----------

9.4 W Holland to Grabben
Nipped back in from the off stump and was hitting leg stump and the umpire brings up the dreaded finger.
9.3 W Holland to Willem
Short, hooked to deep backward square, Staveley running wide from fine leg taking a brilliant catch.
9.2 W Holland to Binns
The bowler just intuitively stuck out his hand on his follow though as the ball held up off the pitch on a full drive. Caught and bowled !

Holland takes his first hattrick!

End of Over 10: 27-6, runrate=2.70, reqrunrate=8.23 (355-4)
Holland 5-1-14-6
Sekhon* 1 (3 balls)
Cawson 2 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Grabben lbw b. Holland 0 (FOW: 25/6)

The rising of the star has started.
Sawyer taking 4-23 in what will be his break through season with a lot more game time.

Thrashed the game that came first and yet again my star Chav gets to do jack all!
fingerbuns all out for 127
Baggy Blues 1/129 in 28 overs (Masibulele 59*, Chavhanga 34*)

Pulled off a big shock win today :)

Restricted them to 267-6 mainly thanks to 2-26 off 10 from Sadlier but I still wasn't favourite to win.

then found myself at 37-2 and there was a few handy 20's that got me up to 150-5 at a good rate with Hall going well batting at 3. Won by 4 wickets in the end but it was a lot closer than it seemed and had I lost a wicket when my 8 came out on very agressive (good batsmen though) I would have lost. Hall finished on 153* and we won :)

A nice 350 run win for me today as Hodgson(got 203 in last match) and Wylie(got 146 in last match) both respectabley got 138 and 102, as a team we reached a total of 280. On the bowling side of things we were class once again. Legwathi finishing with 4-16 and Hirst finishing with 3-14 we annihilated them as they only got 50. 12,000 people came to watch us but we need the money so we need to be getting closer to the 20k barrier.

First in FC and most probaly OD now aswell. :)
