Won by 9 wickets

Wotton hit 2 to win :p AVERAGE RAISE YAY

0.1 W Sotho to Drury
Drury misses the ball completely and it hits the pads. Big appeal and he's given! It looked like it pitched outside leg but TV replays show it pitched on leg stump. Fantastic umpiring.

Bowling against Hooper. :) Flat pitch.

Against Hubbas in the BT Shield. A good toal posted by them:

End of Over 50: 298-4, runrate=5.96

Stanford: 10-0-49-0

Howard* 51 (52 balls)
Grabb 31 (22 balls)

Last Wicket: Taylor b. Bancroft 83 (FOW: 245/4)

7.2 W Lekgwathi to Bennett
Thick inside edge onto the pads, Lekgwathi has the cheek to appeal. The umpire's given it! Unbelievable, he's practically middled that one! Huge show of dissent from Bennett there, he'll be lucky to keep his full match fee.

End of Over 8: 48-2, runrate=6.00
Lekgwathi 4-0-27-1
Kent* 1 (1 balls)
Mattheus 25 (21 balls)
Last Wicket: Bennett lbw b. Lekgwathi 22 (FOW: 43/2)

:)

8.2 W Sotho to Kent
Undone by a hard, fast yorker which uprooted middle stump.
End of Over 9: 51-3, runrate=5.67
Sotho 5-0-24-2
Lisbie* 3 (4 balls)
Mattheus 25 (21 balls)
Last Wicket: Kent b. Sotho 1 (FOW: 48/3)

12.6 W Sotho to Lisbie
What a gem. That's pitched about a foot outside off and come back sharply through a massive gate taking the off stump with it.

End of Over 13: 65-4, runrate=5.00
Sotho 7-0-30-3
Mattheus* 30 (27 balls)
Poulter 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Lisbie b. Sotho 11 (FOW: 65/4)

Good game. :)

20.5 W Crabb to Poulter
Poulter comes down the pitch to Crabb, looks to go over the top but is beaten in the flight and Rose takes off the bails easily.

21.3 W Austin to Thorn
That's lofted to long off and caught easily by Watson. Austin bounds around the place like a three-year-old chasing a butterfly in the park, Watson plays it cool.

21.4 W Austin to Eakanayake
Got him! Eakanayake tries to hit over the infield, but the elevation just isn't there. Wylie has to move five paces to his right and takes the catch - stumbling a little and making it look more spectacular than it was.

End of Over 22: 99-7, runrate=4.50
Austin 1-0-1-2
Mattheus* 44 (51 balls)
Corcoran 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Eakanayake c. Wylie b. Austin 0 (FOW: 99/7)

:D

This is going to be a tight finish  I must say if I win this, I'll be shocked

End of Over 40: 241-3, runrate=6.03, reqrunrate=5.80 (298-4)

Sainsbury 10-0-71-1

Mpho* 41 (53 balls)
Vuyisa 27 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Sandwith c & b. Hornsby 105 (FOW: 181/3)

Sandwith did an excellent job getting us into such a position

You should easily win that Tom, could be a tight finish though.

In my game against Hooper, I ended up bowling him out for 139 on a flat pitch with Austin and Sotho claiming all the glory, especially Austin. Batting wise we have started quite well apart from a brilliant ball by Thorn to get Hodgson. That sent Rose in though...

End of Over 12: 52-1, runrate=4.33, reqrunrate=2.32 (139-10)
Corcoran 1-0-9-0
Rose* 4 (4 balls)
Wylie 20 (32 balls)
Last Wicket: Hodgson b. Thorn 27 (FOW: 42/1)

Sneaky Penguins v World Class Warriors

lost the toss and batting on a dusty pitch... I don't expect the win though...

End of Over 2: 3-0, runrate=1.50
Sodhi 1-0-1-0
Hedley* 2 (6 balls)
Hiller 1 (6 balls)

2.2 W Jan to Hedley
Hedley misses the ball completely and it hits the pads. Big appeal and he's given! It looked like it pitched outside leg but TV replays show it pitched on leg stump. Fantastic umpiring.

nice start

Its phenomenal that someone with worthless form got the MOTM

End of Over 5: 17-1, runrate=3.40
Jan 3-1-9-1
Hiller* 6 (12 balls)
Yorke 8 (10 balls)

It sure is, he got 54*(56) which is remarkable as he has poor PFL and Worthless form.

Nice to see that you have scored 15 runs in last 3 overs, hope you can keep it up like this. Good luck Effine.

I am still a bit worried cause unlike always, I dont have much reliable batting left even though i bat till 7...

I can't remember, but I think I messed up my bowling orders...

8.4 W Jan to Yorke
Thick edge from Yorke and it's hit the man at slip on the leg! It's in the air, it must be. Yes, Martin caught it! OUT!

ok this is getting serious 26/2

End of Over 10: 31-2, runrate=3.10
Sodhi 5-0-12-0
Worthington* 3 (6 balls)
Hiller 10 (22 balls)
Last Wicket: Yorke c. Martin b. Jan 14 (FOW: 27/2)

sigh...

14.6 W Shorey to Hiller
That's bowled Hiller, terrible shot that, I've seen better batters in a fish 'n' chip shop.

cool

End of Over 15: 50-3, runrate=3.33
Shorey 3-1-7-1
Worthington* 7 (16 balls)
Sardine 0 (0 balls)

16.6 W Shorey to Sardine
Sardine went for the big pull but edged it onto the pad. The ball balloons into the air and Sodhi runs up from short leg and takes it. Got him!

2 more to get to the tail...
