Wow woke up this morning to see a green word next to my match :)

The Baggy Blues made their first big travel over to England for the PlanetCricket BT league. Up this week was the in form Palab Tigers who the Baggy Blues have beaten twice in their previous meetings. The Baggy Blues were looking to end their 2 match losing streak which came about after the departure of Clayden.

The opening 10 overs started poorly with The Palab Tigers CG getting 43 from it, Sawyer grabbed1 wicket in his last over for the spell.
Fernades picked up a wicket for all the runs he was leaking but managed to bring that down his economy to just over 5 an over for his first spell.

Borrowdale backed up Ahmed economical spell while also taking 1 wicket. Mampe finished with no wickets going at 4.6 an over.
The next 10 overs saw 50 runs heading into happy hour with Fernades taking a real hammering while Ahmed managed to cap his best game for the Baggy Blues going at just over 4 an over and picking up a wicket.

Going into happy hour with king finishes Sawyer and Borrowdale on show. They didn't disappoint the fans that traveled over to England with Sawyer grabbing 2 and Borrowdale 3 to reduce the Tigers to all out for 199 after being 4/173 at the 40 over point.

Over came the massive test for the Baggy Blues batting lineup.
The usual wicket of Crouch falling early occurred once again with the BB manager hoping it is due to his lack of secondaries. Could this be one of the few days that Chav and Masi bat well together? This question was answered in 4 balls with Chav failing for the first time in the PC competition leaving the BB in big trouble at 2/10.

It was now over to the big failures with the bat over the past few weeks to stop a 3 match losing streak. Signs were looking promising after Sawyer smacked 20 runs in 15 balls. The partnership soon stabilized with a more cautious approach being taken by both batsmen.
Sawyer brought up his 50 with 2 cracking 4s to reach 50 before Masibulele.

Masibulele 50 soon followed and these two stayed together up to the 40th over putting on a 145 run partnership before Sawyer fell to Eli in the first ball of happy hour for a well made 72.
Masi and Fincher stopped any thought of a quick collapse upping the tempo to take the BB closer to the target. Then in the 44th over the BB nemesis Eli striking again with 2 in 2 giving Eli a hattrick chance after grabbing Masibulele for 84 and Germon for a golden duck.

Ray managed to see off the hattrick ball but with 9 runs remaining and BT famous collapse around the BB were looking shakey for the win. But Fincher finished off the match with a few 2s and singles before whacking the big exclamation point with a 6 to end the game.

And with that Masibulele has shown the BB manager where he wants to bat in the future and Sawyer has also indicated he liked having more rest between inns. Fincher 29 in 16 balls reiterated his form and ability to rescue the BB when in a tricky situation.

Ouch one of those BT upsets.

Was playing a noobish team so thought I would try and make a game out of it by bowling useless bowlers for the first 20 overs.

They elected to bat first and after 20 overs they were 0/159. Then I brought my big guns back but it took until the 40th over before I got my first and second wicket through Sawyer with Sawyer on a hattrick but missing it leaving them 2/234 after 41 overs.

Took another 15 balls before another wicket fell to Mampe this time. Then came the carnage with Sawyer taking a 4 wicket maiden with yet another hattrick chance but again he missed it. Sawyer ended up with 6-23, Mampe 3-41 and Fernades picking up the last wicket to go 1-36.

The chase didn't begin too well after Masi fell in the 2nd over to Akona. But that was the last celebration for robbi with Chavhanga and Crouch putting on a 267 run partnership. Chav ending with 147 from 121 balls and Crouch with 108 from 121 balls.
Baggy Blues winning by 9 wickets.

Playing the top guy in Div 3 but don't know if hes going full strength. Still hes playing a number of players that would walk into my lineup.

Been economical show from Sawyer and now a wicket.

4.4 W Sawyer to Beebi
What a ball by Sawyer! Clips the bat of Beebi and easily caught by Masibulele.

End of Over 7: 23-1, runrate=3.29
Sawyer 4-0-8-1
Blake* 17 (23 balls)
Mott 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Beebi c. Masibulele b. Sawyer 6 (FOW: 17/1)

Fernades sure is going for some boundaries in his overs but hes picked up a 5 fer in the progress.
End of Over 38: 144-8, runrate=3.79
Fernandes 9-0-38-5
Barrowdale* 54 (62 balls)
Steele 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Faulkner c. Sawyer b. Fernandes 1 (FOW: 144/8)

And that's the end of the match. Crusader won by 10 wickets.
Hubbas 67-10
Crusader 70-0

I think my PC division is a tad to easy for me.

This is Crouch best performance in a friendly by a long shot.

End of Over 25: 115-1, runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=1.36 (148-10)
Wharrad 6-1-34-0
Chavhanga* 10 (19 balls)
Crouch 60 (84 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele b. Faulkner 38 (FOW: 73/1)

5.4 W Wotton to Wylie
Wilbrahim is underneath the ball. He doesn't look very confident at all but some how he has taken a marvellous catch. Wilbrahim's legs were shaking like jelly so he did well to hold onto the ball.

Not the start at all I wanted on a hard and fast pitch. 17 off 18 for Wylie.

End of Over 6: 29-1, runrate=4.83
Wotton 3-0-24-1
Davidson* 7 (16 balls)
Hodgson 4 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Wylie c. Wilbrahim b. Wotton 17 (FOW: 25/1)
