Forgot I was in India and woke up to a pleasant surprise, winning by just under 100 runs, after using my 2XI bowlers and a couple of 2XI batsmen :)

7.5 W Wotton to Davidson
Bowled him! He played all round it!

2 down! This is a real shock to me. That means my new signing at number 4 comes in after only 8 overs.

End of Over 10: 39-2, runrate=3.90
Wotton 5-0-28-2
Raisani* 4 (12 balls)
Hodgson 8 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Davidson b. Wotton 9 (FOW: 34/2

Not too good at all but I feel Hodgson, Raisani, Watson and Mckoy can play well - and hopefully they will.

Wasn't going at all well earlier but we've really picked ourselves up here. Saying that, we'll need 300 I feel if we want to win as I have rested my best bowler and one other bowler. Might need a bit of luck aswell.

End of Over 32: 144-2, runrate=4.50
Fadeer 6-0-24-0
Raisani* 57 (63 balls)
Hodgson 57 (89 balls)
Last Wicket: Davidson b. Wotton 9 (FOW: 34/2)

Jaztheman added 30 Minutes and 42 Seconds later...

End of Over 40: 184-2, runrate=4.60
Fadeer 10-0-48-0
Raisani* 68 (80 balls)
Hodgson 86 (120 balls)
Last Wicket: Davidson b. Wotton 9 (FOW: 34/2)

40 runs off last 8 overs isn't bad but I want us to go a little faster than that to be honest. We're probably looking at around 240/8 now.

Jaztheman added 39 Minutes and 9 Seconds later...

End of Over 50: 260-3, runrate=5.20
Upton 10-0-74-0
Watson* 3 (3 balls)
Hodgson 117 (147 balls)
Last Wicket: Raisani c. Calcutt b. Wotton 110 (FOW: 254/3)

Considering our start that is a very good score. I only bought Raisani yesterday and he played an incredible innings. 110 off 110 balls! Sensational. Hodgson was very good and helped put on the 220 run partnership. Let's just hope Lekgwathi feels like bowling on a hard and fast pitch...

Verizon Java Kings. :p

End of Over 13: 74-2, runrate=5.69, reqrunrate=5.05 (260-3)
Mohato 2-1-4-1
Jakobus* 28 (36 balls)
Montgomery 4 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Harris lbw b. Mohato 34 (FOW: 58/2)

Jakobus is the only real wicket I need now. Should win as after that I don't think they'll get many runs. Never know, they could surprise me.

SHEVVIE HAS ANOTHER WOTTON! i play him in a three match series starting next week... THATS IT HES DEAD

Is it Ron Wotton?

SHEVVIE HAS ANOTHER WOTTON! i play him in a three match series starting next week... THATS IT HES DEAD

Is it Ron Wotton?

Yup it is.

Match situation hasn't gone to well since I last said, bowlers have been keeping it more tight now but not getting the important wicket(s).

Just 15 minutes to go until table topping everton take on the underachieving but undoubtedly talented strong arm steady.

Should be a cracking match.

I reckon a close match is ON between HT and Broady, :)

End of Over 23: 115-3, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=4.22 (228-10)
Hockley 2-0-10-0
Alshaun* 50 (51 balls)
Gayle 25 (38 balls)
Last Wicket: Robinson c. Blair b. Sadlier 2 (FOW: 49/3)

I was relying mainly on the openers Bishop/Singh but they failed putting me in trouble!

Another wicket also gone,

25.1 W Sadlier to Gayle
That's poor, poor indeed. He's just taken a big heave at it and hit is straight down the throat of Cameron. All together now, O. U. T... OUT!

Score at the moment,

End of Over 26: 122-4, runrate=4.69, reqrunrate=4.46 (228-10)
Sadlier 8-2-35-3
Alshaun* 54 (56 balls)
Malik 1 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Gayle c. Cameron b. Sadlier 27 (FOW: 120/4)

Waiting for this Sadlier to finish of the spell without any damage :upray

Not the wicket I want put it's a wicket none the less.

25.4 W Lekgwathi to Montgomery
Got him! That ball clearly moved off the seam and uprooted middle stump. Lekgwathi leaps into the air with delight.

Close-ish game.

End of Over 26: 127-3, runrate=4.88, reqrunrate=5.58 (260-3)
Lekgwathi 8-1-26-1
Upton* 1 (2 balls)
Jakobus 69 (79 balls)
Last Wicket: Montgomery b. Lekgwathi 14 (FOW: 126/3)

Jaztheman added 14 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

Another wicket.... but not Jakobus.

28.6 W Gilbert to Upton
Advanced, went for the big hit and picked up straight to wide long on for an easy catch.

Looking much better now.

Score after the next over:

End of Over 30: 138-4, runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=6.15 (260-3)
Lekgwathi 10-1-30-1
Jakobus* 78 (89 balls)
Wilbrahim 0 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Upton c. Hodgson b. Gilbert 3 (FOW: 137/4)

Lekgwathi has used all his overs... He's my best bowler playing and didn't get Jakosbus so it might be up to Mohato to get him.

End of Over 3: 0-1, runrate=0.00
Allen 2-2-0-1
Pollock* 0 (6 balls)
Mampe 0 (2 balls)

3 maidens to start my innings. A personal record.

Still going in poised way,

End of Over 34: 159-4, runrate=4.68, reqrunrate=4.38 (228-10)
Cameron 7-1-33-0
Malik* 18 (24 balls)
Alshaun 73 (84 balls)
Last Wicket: Gayle c. Cameron b. Sadlier 27 (FOW: 120/4)

Anything can happen..

34.2 4 Mckenna to Malik
Malik timed that to perfection right out the middle of the bat. If the fielding side had a whippet fielding he wouldn't catch that!
34.1 6 Mckenna to Malik
Mckenna should pray for rain. Smashed for six!

There is nothing to hurry up.. This pair is crucial.. :upray

surendar added 11 Minutes and 12 Seconds later...

Code:
35.1 [B]4[/B]	Cameron to Malik
Malik guards middle and leg, giving him room for a fantastic square cut. Four runs all the way.
35.5 [B]4[/B]	Cameron to Alshaun
It's all the way to the boundary as Blair makes a desperate dive at the ball, but misses.
36.1 [B]6[/B]	Mckenna to Malik
Well, what a shot! We will get the ball back to Mckenna, just as soon as it comes down...
36.4 [B]4[/B]	Mckenna to Malik
Steered past a diving extra cover for four.

It seems that Alshaun/Malik are in hurry to finish off this match ;)

End of Over 37: 196-4, runrate=5.30, reqrunrate=2.54 (228-10)
Mckenna 9-0-63-0
Malik* 47 (35 balls)
Alshaun 81 (91 balls)
Last Wicket: Gayle c. Cameron b. Sadlier 27 (FOW: 120/4)

Good going Suren.

My match might be going down to the wire. All depends on Jakobus, he is all that matters now. :p

End of Over 37: 180-4, runrate=4.86, reqrunrate=6.23 (260-3)
Mohato 9-1-32-1
Wilbrahim* 16 (28 balls)
Jakobus 104 (108 balls)
Last Wicket: Upton c. Hodgson b. Gilbert 3 (FOW: 137/4)

End of Over 10: 34-3, runrate=3.40
Soares 5-1-18-0
Anthony* 17 (6 balls)
Cox 11 (21 balls)

A poor start, but hopefully these two will milk Jephcott who has only moderate PF. Anthony certainly looks in the mood.

Jaz, lets hope that u are not getting the sights of typical BT collapse from here ;) Infact I am also hoping the same for my team as well since it has reached the crucial last 10 overs. :)

End of Over 39: 202-4, runrate=5.18, reqrunrate=2.45 (228-10)
Mckenna 10-0-69-0
Malik* 47 (41 balls)
Alshaun 87 (97 balls)
Last Wicket: Gayle c. Cameron b. Sadlier 27 (FOW: 120/4)

Say, " NO to BT COLLAPSE! " :upray :D :p

EDIT : Sorry Jaz, i mistook that ur team is chasing! :)
