yea your all set for a win. thats where i lack strength i need to have depth. had to sell my batsman a few weeks ago due to financial ruin impending lol. next season ill be able to buy one back in.

Played my best ever FC side against the batting demons. Sawyer in his debut FC match picked up 2 early wickets but didn't pick up any after that although he did bowl himself for a lot longer than I told him to!

After having the Brisbane Stags 4/100 odd, it took another 150 runs before the next wicket came. Once it did though Mampe and Ahmed cleaned up with 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

In reply, Germon was disappointing given his FC experience getting out for a duck while Stubbs was out soon after for 6. The Masi and Chav show is working a lot better than it does in the OD arena with Chav at 53 not out and Masi 47 leaving BB at 2/107 at stumps.

End of Over 51 (9 runs). Everton : 156-2, runrate=3.06
Lead by 23 runs. (Drop Catch 133-10)

I should cruise to victory with maximum bonus points tomorrow. Leaving me playing second at home last match of the season with a two point cushion.

Awesome way to bring up the 50 for Masi.
27.4 6 Anjum to Masibulele
Beautiful stuff, good line, good length. Hoiked over the top for SIX by Masibulele.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Chav has been a bit more defensive today, Masi being the aggressor.

This "bowler"
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: feeble
just took a wicket.

You can only do so much to get the other team into the game. Come on guys, splurge out, buy some mediocre/mediocre batsmen.

Thanks.

I think that match would be a good example for why I favour a balanced side to one with 2-3 star players. Although on another day your top order could have hit 300+

my team was rounded but i had to sell off a couple players when the debt collectors came knociking.

Geez one gun batsmen is killing me. If this is what Div 4 is going to be like I better do some major rigging!
End of Over 62 (6 runs). Brisbane Stags: 230-2, runrate=3.71 (1st Inn: 323-10)
Lead by 49 runs. (Baggy Blues 504-9 dec)
Mampe 17-1-58-0
Wilkinson* 127 (158 balls)
Obrien 24 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Quailey c. Fincher b. Sawyer 21 (FOW: 182/2)

Back in it once my King came in and got the gun batter along with 2 other wickets. He bowled himself a bit too long though as once Mampe and Borrowdale came on the tail was cleaned up with Mampe ending with a 3 fer and Borrowdale a 2 fer.

End of Over 98 (1 runs). Brisbane Stags: 311-10, runrate=3.17 (1st Inn: 323-10)
Lead by 130 runs. (Baggy Blues 504-9 dec)
Borrowdale 19-2-63-2
Kola* 2 (3 balls)

So got about 2 hours to chase down 130, don't know how many overs that is but if my openers get out I won't be too displeased with Chav and Masi.

And they've done it

End of Over 26 (8 runs). Baggy Blues: 132-3, runrate=5.08 (1st Inn: 504-9 dec)
Lead by 2 runs. (Brisbane Stags 323-10 & 311-10)
Hoggard 2-0-14-0
Fincher* 19 (35 balls)
Chavhanga 75 (67 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele c. Liddel b. Anjum 21 (FOW: 87/3)

WTH, a mediocre bowler is taking apart my batting lineup!

End of Over 10: 56-3, runrate=5.60, reqrunrate=4.13 (220-9)
Nahal 5-0-23-2
Masibulele* 34 (31 balls)
Germon 3 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Fincher c. Chenery b. Nahal 2 (FOW: 52/3)

Oh dear Syl.

I hate chasing vaguely big scores. Is Hard and Fast pitch though

End of Over 36: 182-2, runrate=5.06

Whibread 8-0-32-0

Sebe* 16 (28 balls)
Williams 78 (91 balls)

Last Wicket: Obrien c. Conelly b. Mosheua 13 (FOW: 149/2)

Things don't look too good

End of Over 50: 277-4, runrate=5.54

Tenius 10-0-82-0

Sebe* 73 (68 balls)
Mcveigh 20 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Cort b. Pretorius 10 (FOW: 212/4)

0.2 W Jacobs to Conelly
Conelly swings and the ball goes straight up in the air. There's a few of them running in for it but Turnbull calls for it and takes it cleanly.

End of Over 3: 7-1, runrate=2.33, reqrunrate=5.77 (277-4)

Jacobs 2-0-6-1

Hawkins* 3 (10 balls)
Belgrave 3 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Conelly c. Turnbull b. Jacobs 0 (FOW: 1/1)
