Though I am very new to this team but so far my team fight well in thier first encounter

Present situation of the match

End of Over 12: 54-3, runrate=4.50, reqrunrate=5.34 (256-4)
Mahmood 2-0-11-0
Ali Jan 6-0-25-2

Wills* 1 (1 balls)
Finch 20 (19 balls)

Took a page out of the 'How to Bat like Baggy Blues' book this morning, 4 ducks and 4 single figure scores.

Restriced the side to 160 on a dusty in sunnny weather before they decided to use their elite spin rating to roll me for 118 in 17 overs. Funnily enough their relatively crap spinner completely outplayed withe Windies spinner. Stupid BT20, only me second loss of the season in it.

Just call it the Baggy Blues collapse!
End of Over 10: 58-4, runrate=5.80
Julian 2-1-9-1
Branch* 17 (10 balls)
Masibulele 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Shet b. Julian 1 (FOW: 58/4)

Some reason BT20's engine doesn't like me this season. Was hoping to scape back above the demotion zone but looks like I'm demoting.

2.6 W Samuel to Hicks
Swished outside off stump to a short delivery, top edging to a grateful Gore at third man.
2.5 W Samuel to Gadd
Advanced, went for the big hit and picked up straight to wide long on for an easy catch.
2.4 W Samuel to Waheed
Waheed needs a feather duster, not a bat. He tickled at that one and is comprehensively beaten. Next.
2.3 W Samuel to Oneill
Oneill cuts and is superbly caught by Surmon inches off the ground. From the replays it looks like the ball grounded as he took the catch - it bounced off his chest onto the ground and then back into his hands. Shocking, he's a bit naughty to claim that.
2.2 . Samuel to Oneill
Slower ball outside off stump. Oneill shapes to cut but is beaten by the change of pace. He gets a bottom edge that goes through to Porter on the bounce.
2.1 W Samuel to Caeser
Gone! Poor footwork from Caeser, he's just shuffled across the crease to play that one and it's hit him plumb in front.

That is how an over is supposed to work in BT20!

And that's the end of the match. BFN Bombers won by 203 runs.
BFN Bombers 213-2
Rayleigh CC 10-10

And that's a proper result in BT20!

That is how an over is supposed to work in BT20!
Aww, I guess I had best report this as a bug.
19.1 4 Macfarlane to Barton
Macfarlane drops in a short one and Barton hooks it away for four.
19.2 4 Macfarlane to Barton
Boom, boom, pow! Advances down the pitch and hammers a length ball back over Macfarlane's head. Such a clean strike, not elegant by any stretch of the imagination, just honest, clean striking of the ball.
19.3 4 Macfarlane to Barton
Barton pushes the ball powerfully through the cover region but the ball stops just short of the boundary, the batsman run hard though and manage to run four.
19.4 4 Macfarlane to Barton
French cut from Barton. Misses the stumps by inches. Deliberate or luck, Barton will take those four runs.
19.5 6 Macfarlane to Barton
Slower delivery, scooped over a wide long on for the max.
19.6 1 Macfarlane to Barton
Whipped off his pads, and they run through for a single.

Brilliant spell of bowling by Mampe. But no support and my medium pacers have struggled so far.
End of Over 22: 72-1, runrate=3.27
Mampe 6-2-7-1
Pinnock* 23 (43 balls)
Yeadon 39 (74 balls)
Last Wicket: Lemmer b. Mampe 4 (FOW: 26/1)

Check out this collapse.

From

End of Over 37: 135-2, runrate=3.65
Allen 9-1-26-0
Maylett* 1 (6 balls)
Pinnock 59 (93 balls)
Last Wicket: Yeadon c. Woods b. Sawyer 57 (FOW: 132/2)

To

End of Over 46: 146-10, runrate=3.17
Chambers 7-2-20-3
Archer* 0 (5 balls)

Allen got his first wicket for us, with Woods and Chambers picking up 3 a piece.

A welcome (and cheap) OD win

Pie Chuckers 133 (34.5)
Dlulane 35 (43)
Gross 3/30 (10.0)
Cable 3/35 (9.0)

Fighting Mongooses 1/134 (26.4)
Holloway 64 (84)
Sephake 42 (53)
Tretton 1/30 (7.0)

End of Over 29: 118-1, runrate=4.07, reqrunrate=1.38 (146-10)
Meadowcroft 5-0-15-0
Moodley* 65 (113 balls)
Chavhanga 50 (59 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele lbw b. Heggett 0 (FOW: 4/1)

Moodley having his best innings but I could have used him as the duck rather than Masi as he has PFL issues.

One thing I hate is when you need 7+ runs an over and the batsmen don't attack.

End of Over 40: 179-6, runrate=4.48, reqrunrate=9.20 (270-4)
Gledhill 10-1-44-0
Geel* 58 (89 balls)
Cuss 70 (88 balls)
Last Wicket: Croft c. Praski b. Dyer 0 (FOW: 50/6)
Geel and Cuss are just far too slow.

Isn't much you can do about it until your batsmen get better. Stamina can help but if your batters aren't as good as the bowlers then they will get bogged down. I had that problem with batting Sawyer at 4 and even though his stamina was strong he got 60 off 120, since then I haven't batted him any higher than 6.

Chugging along at a very nice rate. Don't even know why I bother playing the 1XI, I'm pretty much guaranteed first now :)

Welcome to C&D CG for the match between C&D and Livingston Lions.

We can tell you that C&D won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking slow and low. Tough for everyone. Could be a low scoring match on this sunny day.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

End of Over 27: 158-1, runrate=5.85
Mainey 4-0-25-1
Hollis* 22 (16 balls)
Mcbean 78 (79 balls)

Last Wicket: Ashmore c. Woodward b. Mainey 58 (FOW: 121/1)

Not that great start from my boys against Tom,

End of Over 23: 136-1, runrate=5.91
Cawood 5-0-26-0
Singh* 64 (60 balls)
Heads 64 (78 balls)
Last Wicket: Bishop st. Hollis b. Burns 4 (FOW: 5/1)

It's time to go on like this 30 overs & then accelerate. Com'on boys! :banana2
