First Myall now Norton, you certainly know how to make consistent batters!

Chased down the total in 19 overs without anymore wickets. Got to look at Chav though.
Not bad ratings on PAN

Been a tough game today, sunny weather and a flat pitch so some of my bowlers have taken quite a bit of stick with few rewards.

End of Over 50: 296-4, runrate=5.92
Samuel 10-0-47-3
Richa* 1 (1 balls)
Chanmugam 25 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Gurney b. Samuel 106 (FOW: 295/4)

Samuel has been the best of the lot, to round off his best OD performance of the season so far. Spinners bowled surprisingly well with regards to economy and Kelly nabbed a wicket too. Bird and Sloan, were a disappointment with economy rates of 7.9 and 6.9 respectively. Still a target of 297 doesn't seem all that bad, considering my batting order is pretty well spread and the conditions are batsman friendly.

Should have this in the bag, after batting first, especially with the weather conditions:

End of Over 50: 270-2, runrate=5.40
Beard 10-0-49-1
Hollis* 95 (113 balls)
Tailor 60 (53 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcbean c & b. Radcliffe 83 (FOW: 160/2)

Bollocks, he could be about to pull off a really big upset!!!! Manders was totally smacked around off his 7 overs so far. Went for 41 runs!!!!

End of Over 22: 128-0, runrate=5.82, reqrunrate=5.11 (270-2)
Roper 1-0-2-0
Roberton* 71 (76 balls)
Rooney 53 (57 balls)

Phew, captain leading by example here!!!

23.6 W Roper to Rooney
Roper almost bent double in his follow through, picking up that catch off his bootlaces. It's a good job he stretches those hamstrings in the outfield.

End of Over 24: 134-1, runrate=5.58, reqrunrate=5.27 (270-2)
Roper 2-0-3-1
Roberton* 77 (86 balls)
Boga 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Rooney c & b. Roper 53 (FOW: 134/1)

Highlander999 added 2 Minutes and 1 Seconds later...

...and when one goes, a second goes soon after :)

24.2 W Cawood to Boga
Clean bowled! Fantastic! All of the players gather in the middle, but Cawood looks a little taken aback as Pretorius ruffles his hair.

Gonna be a tight finish!!!!!!

End of Over 40: 202-3, runrate=5.05, reqrunrate=6.90 (270-2)
Burns 10-1-41-1
O'Neil* 1 (1 balls)
Radcliffe 28 (41 balls)

Last Wicket: Roberton c. Ashmore b. Burns 111 (FOW: 199/3)

He is in a better position with the runs then I was at this stage :(

End of Over 40: 187-2, runrate=4.68
Radcliffe 10-0-49-1
Tailor* 13 (20 balls)
Hollis 59 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcbean c & b. Radcliffe 83 (FOW: 160/2)

Highlander999 added 2 Minutes and 19 Seconds later...

FFS  My bowlers are being tonked around by a bunch of retards. Stupid match engine favouring chasing teams. This guy shouldn't be anywhere close to beating me!!!!!

40.1 4 Pretorius to O'Neil
A great front foot pull shot by O'Neil. That'll race away to the boundary for four. Mcbean had no chance to stop that.

40.4 4 Pretorius to O'Neil
Someone in a large chicken suit is being escorted off the terrace, as a loose delivery from Pretorius is brutally square cut through the covers for four.

End of Over 41: 209-3, runrate=5.10, reqrunrate=9.78 (296-4)
Mcleish 6-0-25-0
Fish* 39 (28 balls)
Surmon 54 (54 balls)
Last Wicket: Teasdale lbw b. Conrad 35 (FOW: 127/3)

It's not favouring my chase at all, even though we got 12 off the last over, I lose Fish first ball of the next. This sucks big hairy man balls. Either I need to scrap a bowler, or, well, get an amazing destructive batsman.....

Here comes the collapse, Nicholls gone off the first of the next over. Brings in Mampe.
Dublin Mutts Nutts nka mo dira gore BFN Bombers. Freaking hell.

About bloody time to. Stupid bowlers making me worry!!!! Nice to see Pretorius get a hat-trick though :)

42.4 W Pretorius to Goodall
Goodall reaches for one, misses it and fails to slide his foot back. Hollis has a look, takes an age to whip the bails off and the third umpire says he's gone.
42.3 W Pretorius to Dunn
Pretorius pitches that one in the business area and Dunn's timing is shot to pieces. So are his stumps.
42.2 W Pretorius to Lucas
What a ball by Pretorius. Clips the bat of Lucas and easily caught by Hollis.
41.1 W Roper to Radcliffe
Mistimed pull, lot of height but no distance. Burns could have had a cup of tea while he waited for that one.

End of Over 43: 229-7, runrate=5.33, reqrunrate=6.00 (270-2)
Pretorius 7-0-43-3
O'Neil* 17 (8 balls)
Parillon 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Goodall st. Hollis b. Pretorius 0 (FOW: 229/7)

End of Over 50: 294-5, runrate=5.88
van Zyl 10-0-80-2
Mampe* 39 (21 balls)
97 (82 balls)

49.6 4 van Zyl to Surmon
Stack 'em up... four runs and a shot and a half from Surmon.
49.5 4 van Zyl to Surmon
Surmon puts that away nicely, although, it was a poor delivery. van Zyl has plenty to say about it, though Surmon is not interested in chit-chat.
49.4 4 van Zyl to Surmon
Shows the full face of the bat and punches it down the ground for four.
49.3 1 van Zyl to Mampe
Shuffles and works it to midwicket for a single.
49.2 4 van Zyl to Mampe
Great shot! He leant forward and drove inside out, over wide mid off. Very deliberate, very skillful and very well placed.
49.1 1 van Zyl to Surmon
Smacked to a wide long off. Monkhouse did well to prevent the boundary.

I hate battrick, a 4 and 5 singles of the penultimate over, just change two of the singles into a 2, or swap one for a 4 and I would've had it. Either way, not a bad effort after having a required rate of 10 with 9 to go. Bottom line is that I shouldn't have lost though.

Won the One day game by 7 wickets.
