Short turn around. Won my 3rd toss in a row and once again bowling first.
Was looking in trouble when they were 1/100 after 11 overs but some good bowling Sawyer, Mampe and Woods saw the next 9 overs go for 7/60. So once again chasing 160, hopefully my batters hold up.

End of Over 20: 160-8, runrate=8.00
Mampe 4-0-25-2
Mccaw* 85 (63 balls)
Mccrave 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Carbon c. Masibulele b. Mampe 0 (FOW: 160/8)

160 should be an easy chase.

End of Over 20: 179-3, runrate=8.95
Johal 4-0-55-2
Teasdale* 1 (1 balls)
Surmon 92 (50 balls)
Last Wicket: Mampe c. Simmons b. Johal 76 (FOW: 168/3)

Decent total on an uneven pitch and partly cloudy and humid weather. Still with the way Surmon and Mampe got in I was expecting around 190. This should be defendable at least.

I'm dominating this match! Samuel is on fire!

End of Over 4: 32-5, runrate=8.00, reqrunrate=9.25 (179-3)
Sloan 2-0-19-0
Clement* 8 (3 balls)
Mckagen 4 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Machemko Run Out 5 (FOW: 28/5)

Samuel started with a wicket in his first over and then a hattrick at the start of his second, this is the type of performance I've been waiting for this season, so far he's been anonymous really. We'll finish them off pretty easily now.

Ouch, last season I narrowly avoided a planned demotion, as it stands now I'm joint 2nd lol. I think you need to up your payroll to Allan like I did, 1st, 1st and 2nd has made my members quite happy!

Just to add, won my game today, was the 2nd toughest considering they destroyed my spinners and nearly bowled me out.

Nice you are really flying this season. I got my 2nd win, to be fair to my side, I've played the teams that are in the top 4 currently so only can get easier from here with 2 matches against the bottom sides in hand.

Back to OD mode. Fernades and Sawyer were expensive going for 32 and 27 from their respective 5 overs.

End of Over 28: 142-3, runrate=5.07
Mampe 9-1-48-1
Mcallister* 6 (11 balls)
Koumas 5 (20 balls)
Last Wicket: Dave c. Masibulele b. Mampe 20 (FOW: 131/3)

Sawyer and Fernades came back very well in their second spell. 2-37 and 3-35 respectively so Fernades went for 3 runs in his last 5 overs!

Chambers the star who got the run rate back under control also picked up a 3 fer. Bowled them for 160.

In reply Masi and Moodley got off to a solid start at 0/27 after 7 but 3 quick wickets including Chav for a duck left me 3/36. But my new duo of Crouch and Branch has caused another team headches with a partnership of 126 of 122 balls including this brutal over

End of Over 28: 134-3, runrate=4.79, reqrunrate=1.23 (160-10)
Jannie 9-2-30-2
Crouch* 46 (48 balls)
Branch 52 (62 balls)

Last Wicket: Moodley lbw b. Jannie 17 (FOW: 36/3)
28.1 6 Gigaba to Crouch
Attempts to get it in the blockhole, but instead it turns into a full toss which is slapped high back over his head.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
28.2 1 Gigaba to Crouch
Slightly short from the medium pacer, plenty of time for Crouch to get on the back foot and strike the ball crisply through the off side. Fine stop by Jannie diving full length to his right. One run taken.
28.3 . Gigaba to Branch
Solid forward defensive stroke, trickles back to Gigaba.
28.4 4 Gigaba to Branch
That's trickling away to the boundary like a rolling stone. Four runs.
28.5 4 Gigaba to Branch
Bouncer at the body but its all gone horribly wrong and Branch pulls it into the gap for four runs.
28.6 4 Gigaba to Branch
He seems to be batting by numbers. We'll have a four this time please.

Won with 20 overs to spare.

Very close game. After selling Lovell I forgot to get a replacement meaning it's playing a 36 year old competent bowler. He got ***** for 85 giving me a marathon chase.

Norton made his 5th ton of the season.

Need 31 to win from 4 overs.
End of Over 46: 279-4, runrate=6.07, reqrunrate=7.75 (309-6)
Faulconbridge 8-0-57-1
Croft* 21 (29 balls)
Mccormick 67 (69 balls)
Last Wicket: Norton lbw b. Melia 122 (FOW: 218/4)

Gilly Fan added 2 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...

Crucial four from Mccormick means 10 from the over.

46.5 4 Iwuajoku to Mccormick
Boom! This was a length delivery but a little bit of width on offer and Mccormick goes up and over extra cover. Hit on the up, impressive strike.
End of Over 47: 289-4, runrate=6.15, reqrunrate=7.00 (309-6)
Iwuajoku 9-0-65-1
Mccormick* 73 (72 balls)
Croft 25 (32 balls)
Last Wicket: Norton lbw b. Melia 122 (FOW: 218/4)

Only 20 needed. Mccormick is the main man. I've stilled got Cuss in the sheds and he's a superb batsman.

Gilly Fan added 3 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

2 fours from the over and it's all sealed barring a hattrick or something.

47.2 4 Faulconbridge to Croft
Slice of luck for the batsman there. That one was short and wide of off stump, asking to be cover driven. Croft gets a thick inside edge and the ball runs to the fine leg boundary.

47.4 4 Faulconbridge to Mccormick
Mccormick just leans onto that slightly overpitched delivery, and the ball

End of Over 48: 301-4, runrate=6.27, reqrunrate=4.50 (309-6)
Faulconbridge 9-0-69-1
Croft* 31 (35 balls)
Mccormick 79 (75 balls)
Last Wicket: Norton lbw b. Melia 122 (FOW: 218/4)

Gilly Fan added 3 Minutes and 35 Seconds later...

End of Over 49: 306-4, runrate=6.24, reqrunrate=4.00 (309-6)
Iwuajoku 10-0-70-1
Croft* 34 (39 balls)
Mccormick 81 (77 balls)
Last Wicket: Norton lbw b. Melia 122 (FOW: 218/4)

Only 5 from that last over. A bit worried at the moment. Can't lose surely?

Gilly Fan added 3 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...

Only 1 needed from 3 balls now.

And there's the win. :D

49.4 4 Faulconbridge to Mccormick
The forward defensive is not one of the shots in Mccormick's armoury. He has mowed that away for four runs.

Great knock by Mccormick has helped me win and keep my season undefeated.

And that's the end of the match. Aussie Bombers won by 6 wickets.
Strathmore Heights CC 309-6
Aussie Bombers 313-4

End of Over 50: 313-4, runrate=6.26
Faulconbridge 9-0-76-1
Croft* 36 (41 balls)
86 (79 balls)

End of Over 17: 80-5, runrate=4.71
Mampe 2-1-5-3
Farmer* 19 (24 balls)
Ass 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: May c. Samuel b. Mampe 0 (FOW: 80/5)

Bird struck first with two wickets, but that didn't slow them down, this last over from Mampe was devastating though, 2 wickets off the first 2 balls of the over and then another off of the last ball. That's almost them sunk now! Samuel struggling to have a repeat performance of his BT20 antics, but at least he's taken a catch, still he's stopped firing on orders that have worked since forever so a change is needed!

17.2 W Sloan to Ass
That's a magnificent piece of bowling from Sloan. Angled into Ass and then straightening a touch, it rips out the batsman's off stump. Ass is on his way.

He can kiss his ass goodbye! Go Sloan, now they're sunk!

Love the names, Ass makes way fro Drolkop hehe

More ownage coming up in FC and this is my full strength batting lineup :facepalm

2 more sessions to survive

Chavhanga* 51 (69 balls)
Branch 53 (66 balls)
Last Wicket: Shet lbw b. van Schalkwyk 25 (FOW: 64/2)

My match is going down to the wire, hopefully my tailenders don't stuff up the good work done by Crouch and Branch.

End of Over 111 (Maiden). Baggy Blues: 445-6, runrate=4.01 (1st Inn: 159-10)
Trail by 200 runs. (The People's Army 553-3 dec & 251-1 dec)
Overs left today: 7
van Schalkwyk 24-10-54-6
Sawyer* 5 (12 balls)
Sam 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Crouch c. Lancaster b. van Schalkwyk 125 (FOW: 441/6)

Did you manage to survive the last 7 overs then?

FC has become rediculously easy for me, so I've decided to promote, atm I havn't come close to a loss or a draw. The last game was particularly easy as the manager put out a B team who I quite easily got rid of in a day and a half.

Yep and both ended up on 19. One of the usual BT bugs kicked in before I could check the score.

Report summary ended up a lot closer than I thought it would.

Baggy Blues The People's Army
Top Order: quality remarkable
Middle Order: remarkable remarkable
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble mediocre
Spin Bowling: quality wonderful
Fielding: woeful woeful

Easy win coming up and I did it on PAN.

Chav's form is a worry though, again out cheaply.

End of Over 15: 78-2, runrate=5.20, reqrunrate=0.77 (104-10)
Bradley 3-0-14-0
Branch* 18 (23 balls)
Masibulele 26 (42 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga c. Bradley b. Allen 13 (FOW: 41/2)

Top of the table clash today and I'm gonna lose. Made only 3/254. Everyone went a run a ball except for Greenwood who hit 29 from 77 (Yep, seventy seven) balls. He is a destructive batsmen yet only has a strike rate of 68 this season. Norton made a hundred again. He just doesn't stop.

End of Over 13: 72-1, runrate=5.54, reqrunrate=4.95 (254-3)
Hougaard 7-0-44-1
Werner* 39 (36 balls)
Staton 28 (35 balls)
Last Wicket: Gayle c. Norton b. Hougaard 2 (FOW: 9/1)
