Cricket Leagues - Support and Advice

Slightly irrelevant, but I always set a minimum (27) and maximum (38) bat rating for pure batsman/all rounders. I guess it was suggested by Biggy.

Also, real life performance obviously means ratings going up. In-sim form, however, doesn't for me.

Hi can any one explain me how to play the cricket league please

Just chek post two of this thread for my guidelines. Too lazy to post it again. For ODs my max is 42 and min is 30 and for tests max is 60 and min is 40 :p

Hi can any one explain me how to play the cricket league please

To be a part of any league, you need to confirm the interest in a team of the league you want to manage in the respective league thread. Once that is done, the league manager will chose whether to or not have you as a part of his league. Once you get what you want, you can play the league but before you enter any league, you need to have an idea how things go in a league. For that, the information below might help you.

There are broadly two types of leagues.

1. Where you play as a team manager

2. Where you play as a player.

In the first case, you need to form a team in the criteria given by a league manager particular for the particular league by picking players either by draft on first come first basis or via auction involving virtual money/numbers. Once you are done with picking the players and trading session (it may not apply for all the leagues), you are required to post the lineup for the matches, once again satisfying the criteria set up by the league manager of the league you are a part of. If you win a nation based 50 overs league as a team manager, you get a chance to play with the winning teams from other nation based leagues in Planetcricket Champions League.

Now, in the second instance, you play as a player for the team you have signed up for.

Note: No real money is involved in auction process of a cricket league. The award for winning or being a finalists may or may not include vCash awards as decided by the league owner. You might need to invest vCash (virtual money or vbulletin Cash that you get in the forum) in a few leagues.

Just one thing, is there any football simulator like Syedur Rahman's cricksim? Then link me please. 10000 vCash as a reward!:thumbs

Overkill of PC leagues now.

Tbh I'd almost say that the quality of the leagues is at an all-time high. Just having a look through them all now and the effort that some people are putting in far exceeds what I would've done with my NZPL. Very few leagues are double-ups as well, unlike in the past where we've had like five IPLs running at the same time.

This. I am loving the current set of leagues. Thoroughly enjoying Varun's Ashes and Author's PCFTP and some other leagues are above par!
