Cricket Leagues - Support and Advice

I just downloaded cricksim on my laptop again. Could somebody provide me with the latest international team rosters, both test and one day? :)

Guys regarding the Hall of Fame I have an idea. Lets us pick up all leagues the author stated and then all of us vote on them, and suppose a league gets 75 or 80% of votes it would be included in the Hall of Fame. Something like the LoTM.

Why don't we continue the LoTM? I know it was controversial but to be honest it inspired me and would inspire all. Also winning the LoTM got me excellent managers.

I am personally not in favor in any of these Hall of Fame or LoTM sort of things. The leagues section is working pretty well as is and I don't think any inspiration as such is needed. It will only cause controversies.

Well I think it should just be a list of the best of all. There are some surefire ones which clearly belong here. There's nothing controversial in indexing the best leagues with short descriptions.

Yeah, I have no desire to start LoTM again/involve voting in anyway.

Hall of Fame is okay. It's just that I can't really imagine what good it will do. People will feel if they complete like 8-10 seasons of their league, it will be put into the hall of fame which I don't think should be the case. There have been leagues which lasted about 3-4 seasons but were brilliant in regards to the efforts put into them plus they were entertaining. Not listing such leagues would be a shame.

I am not really sold on this because we don't really have the criteria to decide which leagues should be in and which should be excluded. This is entirely my personal opinion though.

That's what. Many of us know which leagues should be in the Hall of Fame, so we can either make a criteria or just vote the leagues in. First lets just lost the leagues people unanimously agree upon and then take other leagues :)

LoTM is not happening for me. If any other staff member wants to take the initiative, he can. I will see what we can come up with for the hall of fame thing. Although I still don't get what good it will do. There shouldn't be any hall of fame as such as we already have the completed leagues section which has all the league archives.

We aren't going to have LoTMs again, let's not repeat the same mistake.

Well exactly what good it could do to have the best leagues archived in a single thread...

I see what you are trying to say there. But if there will be such a thing, I rekon it might be based on if the members enjoyed the league, how the manager put the efforts into the league. Tbh if there should be HoF there shouldn't be the numbers of seasons involved. #my opinion.

Now here is a question for all you managers.
Say you rate a young batsmen at 25 or something, if some how he has a good season in you league would you upgrade him to make it realistic? :spy
