Dec 3-7: 2nd Test: Australia v England at the Adelaide Oval

Swann will enjoy the rough outside the right hander's stumps, which I think Doherty has found at times, but it's much too innocuous a line. He might be best to bowl over the wicket at this stage.

Oh there it is. Off spinner's rough indeed.

Doherty control has been poor considering that was meant to be his strength, too full when he tries to bowl middle stump and been bowling far too many down leg side.
Swann is going to have a field day on this pitch, North is turning it a mile already.

North is turning it now! Signs as well from the seamers that there's a bit of swing there, so Anderson could be an influence.

Siddle is still a worry, his consistency is a big issue, he produced that epic spell but then seems to struggle. This is the sort of pitch which he has been hyped up to be very good on. He could learn a thing or two from Harris who is the better version of him.

Bollinger looks to be struggling with match fitness, he is certainly not a 130km/h bowler. Good on KP for noticing this and taking it to him and possible hitting him out of the Ashes.

It wasn't intelligent bowling from Siddle. He doesn't really an action and the pace to bowling short consistently, certainly not on this pitch.

Harris looks to be struggling. Is his fitness a major concern?

He is capable of bowling good short stuff, his first ball today showed that. His next two balls then showed his lack of intelligence. His back is the reason for his struggle in pace, he is capable for bowling 150km/h spells but doesn't seem confident going to that level.

Looks like the poor fella now has a shoulder injury, not good as he has been our best bowler so far.

Not on a consistant base though. He's got a McDermott-like action, where he kisses the surface and gets some swing and nip.

Really not surprised by English domination here. Cook is perhaps my favorite player in the English team right now, he's made that comeback when he was almost counted out of the squad and he's just plain awesome. Good to see KP on a roll too.
For Aus, their decade+ domination was over long ago (there's no way they're winning the WC too this time), but I was at least expecting Watson/Ponting/Hussey to put up some fight.

Good to see Bell being positive. Hopefully we can get the lead towards 300 and then have most of the last session to have a real go at the Australians.

Cook and Hussey both under pressure both supposedly weak links, Lol they proved everyone wrong so far. Before australia and england go crazy about who's losing/winning, don't forget that england were also 4/4?? last time in adelaide. So there's not much difference apart from warne's disappearance to bowl england out for 129.
