Eleven to One: an ODI RNG Draft

I'm happy with the team so far.

The wkb ever in ODIs, former world #1 bowler, a batsman averaging in 50s, an alleounder, two experienced seamers. Perfect so far. Hoping to get a Frontline spinner now.

In my opinion, 45 scores of over 50 with 15 centuries which is 50% conversion rate from 50s to hundreds and a List A average of 53 in a strong county set up at a time when hardly any English batsman averaged in mid-40s speaks volumes about his talent, skill and consistency. If only he didn't have the heart ailment, he would made a big name for himself.

Tector on the other hand has a good record in a small sample size but he mainly plays against associate side so Taylor gets a nod from me. At times, you have to look beyond the stats too. Just my personal opinion.

I don't disagree - I'm pretty sure I trust you more as a judge of cricketers than Pietersen

Tector's bad luck was being drawn against such a strong batter so late in the game

Eek! I don't say I am better at judging cricketers than Pietersen but maybe I have a bias because I liked James as a player even before he made his international debut.

Now, I'm still waiting on a pick, but I had a spare chunk of time and thus put this post together so that we can keep the momentum going. This is absolutely not intended to be a dig at that person, who still has 36 hours before his deadline - I'm just super impressed how fast everyone else got back!

Round 10

1679306660829.png

Round 10

1679306875551.png
1679306928288.png
:wi: :bwl: Milton Small was a feisty fast bowler who had the misfortune of sustaining a knee injury and falling out of the Barbados team at a point when it was basically a World XI. What he was not, however, is a batter. He bats at five.

Round 11
1679307032081.png

Tony Reid was a 42-year-old who opened the bowling for the USA while bowling a bit slower than Chris Harris. Could bat a bit, although he failed twice in ODIs.
