And Flintoff had also an ankle injury. But still he played. Just like Akhtar, who seemed to be having problems too.

I think if Pietersen won't play Bell will come in the team.

Prefer Solanki tbh, solanki is a underrated ODI player. Look at today and the ODI game vs Aus he saved us in.

Great start for Plunkett...ODI batting average of 56

Wait, wasn't he supposed to be a bowler?
But bowlers are supposed to go at lest than 9 an over...:D

Leave him alone he's only 20!

He'll improve, bowled worse than Saturday would've done better were it not for some poor fielding. Can think of 8 runs scored off him caused by bad fielding.

Why is Solanki batting like 10?

He was the Supersub. If England would have subbed, they would have got only five bowlers. And they did. That's why Solanki also bowled.

Ok, subtract the extra 8. 7 overs for 55. Much better

Strangely, so far he only has 2 first class fifties!

Great century by Akmal to give Pakistan a victory. The series 1-1. Good come back by Pakistan after losing the first match and great bowling by Shoaib Akhtar.

Good comprehensive win for Pakistan! Now they look like a side that can really thrash the English!

On these kind of pitches, going at 6 is a decent effort, so a 9 an over night is understandable when the guy is only new on the scene. He looks a great prospect, nice smooth action not dissimilar to Shane Bond.

Top effort from the hobbled Shoaib to bundle out England for about 70-80 less than what was expected. His performances since England have been in town have been top notch, particularly for a much maligned figure.

Pakistan totally deserved the win. Ahktar set it up with his brillant 5 for and then Akmal with his 100. Collingwood, Blackwell bowled quite well. I thought they may come in for some stick but Plunkett was the one that took the stick.

Well you'll see a lot stronger side for Paksitan in the third match. It looks like this.

Salman Butt
Kamran Akmal
Younis Khan
Mohommed Yousuf
Inzamam-ul-Haq
Shoaib Malik
Shahid Afridi
Abdul Razzaq
Shoaib Akthar
Rana Naved-ul-Hasan
Mohommed Sami

SS: Danish Kaneria (If fit) or Yasir Arafat

Afridi looks even more dangerous at the top of the order, and if he makes atleast 30 runs, then we should end up with a total over 250, nearer the 300s.

But you have 2 aggressive openers already there so that'll get you of to a start around 6 rpo then Younis, Inzi, Yousuf and Malik make the Middle order strong and the Afridi and Razzaq finish with a bang! That is only good if your batting first because then you could have Kaneria come in and give you the advantage.

Is KP injured?
