It was a brave effort by Blackwell, Kabir and Jimmy, but that run out turned out to be the turning point, if Blackwell would of continued straight on instead of suddenly turning he would have made it, still take nothing away from Pakistan, they bowled well early on despite not turning up with the bat today.siddharth2002 said:Oh no!!! Pakistan wins, this was so close, Eng deserved to win after the fightback. But Congrats to Pakistan for winning the series. 2005, the year of mixed results for England.

sami ullah khan said:I have said that before that these umpires are biased against us. That was out clearly gloved to the keeper. That was the turning point in the match. Trescothick is a key wicket. That decision was not an error of judgement. Its biase and nothing else. If trescothick goes on to win the match for his team, after being clearly out, it will be another feather in the cap of anti asian umpires.
True, I also think we could have done with Ian Bell in there, he's batted well as sub this series when he's been required, just unlucky that he was subbed at the start after Pakistan chose to bat, with him coming in down the order it would have helped, especially if it was to partner Blackwell at the end there.Sureshot said:Someone thought we deserved to win?
Our batting really does throw away good positions at times, Only Strauss imo got out thought by the bowler, rest gave it away, maybe bar Flintoff.
Ali batted well, He should play all the games in India, we need a pitch up bowler to have any chance there.
