Our selectors have got to look at this recently concluded Aus A tour of Pakistan A. Bazid Khan did a pretty good job and he deserves another go in international cricket. Mohammad Asif, Shahid Nazir and Najaf Shah bowled pretty well too. Shahid Nazir is a better bowler than Sami, so I recommend him over the latter. Bringing in Mushy is not as good a decision as it looks. He hasnt played cricket in Pakistan for two years (am I right?), he isnt used to the subcontinental pitches anymore and he didnt look his former self in the South African series in 2003.

P.S.Any news about Saqlain?

The have forgotten Saqlain, if he kept on playing I'm sure he would have been the world's best spinner or one of them after warne.

Well the fact is, after the injury, Saqlain couldnt be the bowler he once was. He struggled against Bangladesh and South Africa, but India really did hurt him. He is even struggling at Surrey. I just want to see the old magical Saqlain back, nothing else.

Big blow, i feel Jimmy could do a job though, as Cooley has said he has improved and Cooley is one of the best bowling coaches in the world.

Yeh, although would picking Udal be a negative decision as he is only going to be on the scene for 2 years max?

I think England should stick with one spinner and 4 seamers.

So Anderson for Jones?

Maybe Sidebottom he's done superb for Nottinghamshire.

England should play with 2 spinners in India, as its spinn friendly pitches in India. I would have Giles and Louden.
