Hey, I updated as much as I could down my Dads, which was sadly just the once. Things will pick up like they did before I went away from now on.

A note on the FPT Final. The pitch wasn't that bad just cloudy conditions. Really surprised at the low score. One of the lowest I've seen in a 50 over game on ICC (Was played on ICC 02).

Cheers for the comment Tom :cheers

It's the normal font that you post in. Just quoting it makes it Italic...

Sharma makes the 15 as Sehwag is left out

The Indian selectors have included young batsmen Rohit Sharma into the 15
man squad for the upcoming ODI series with England. Virender Sehwag misses
out after appearing in the test team for all 3 test matches. Murali Kartik and
Mohammad Kaif both are kept out after being included in the test squad but
not playing a single test. The others to miss out are Dinesh Karthik, Wasim
Jaffer and Anil Kumble. The Indian selectors have made a bold move insuring
that a new, young Indian side is the way forward. Yuvraj Singh comes back
into the side after being left out in the cold for the test series.

Nice to see Rohit being included in the 15-man squad. Personally, I would have swapped Agarkar for RP Singh but what ever fills your boat Jack. ;)

Great little update mate. This story should surely win the Story of the Month award! :)

Flintoff returns to the action

Andrew Flintoff's long waited return has arrived as he was announced in the
15-man squad for the ODI series with India. Flintoff hasn't featured in any of
this Summer's tests and will be hoping for a fresh start after events at the
World Cup. Stuart Broad comes into the side after a bit of an up and down
series against the West Indies. Liam Plunkett, Andrew Strauss and test
captain Michael Vaughan are the players to miss out after being selected in
the test squad. Luke Wright, Owais Shah and Dimitri Mascarenhas fill up the
rest of the squad.

D.Mascarenhas, M.Panesar, K.Pietersen, M.Prior (wk), O.Shah, R.Sidebottom, C.Tremlett, L.Wright

Strong England line-up with Freddie back for England. That will be a major boost for them

Great presentation mate. This will be a tight series.

Pakistan win 3 from 3

THIRD YOUTH ODI, Northampton
Pakistan U19s 220/8 beat England U19s 200/9 by 20 runs

Pakistan U19's are still on track to record a series whitewash against England
after defeating them by 20 runs in the third ODI at Northampton. Mohammad
Aamer hit 55 and took 2 for 41 as he and Shahzaib Ahmed, who took 4 for 46,
were the main contributors to the victory. Steven Finn took 4 for 45 to restrict
Pakistan to just 220/8 from their 50 overs, but the Pakistani bowlers proved
too strong again to stop England 20 runs short.

England won the toss and bowled first which looked like a fantastic decision
with Pakistan tottering on 95/6. Stands of 74 between Imad Wasim and Aamer,
and 41 between Mohammad Rameez and Aamer meant that Pakistan made a
respectable total. Finn was supported well by the other bowlers, Alex Wakely
taking 2 for 49 and there were also a wicket a piece for Liam Dawson and
Chris Woakes.

In reply England started well making it to 83/3 thanks to starts from all the top
four batsmen. Things started to turn for the worst, though, with Ahmed
destroying the middle and lower order to leave England 80 behind with just the
one wicket left. Liam Dawson hit an unbeaten 46 in a stand of 60* with Finn,
who made a handy 22*, to make things a whole lot more respectable for
England.

Fantastic effort by Pakistani youths. That was a great effort by the bowlers and the Lower-order.

Great works Treva. I love these updates. Keep up the fantastic presentation!
