I'm the 5th member to say Jack Russell so that does that mean I get reps? :p

Legend, cheers for that :D LF's right, your coverage is better than sky's :p.

Now the Aussies sit and wait for the England to be bowled out cheaply, before they get back into the batting rhythm :D

Just read the last couple of updates. Simply incredible to be honest. Brilliant work and as Joe and others have pointed out, it's better than skys. Good work from Fred and Hoggy to restrict Australia to 419, but thats still a good score, so England will have to bat well.

Once again great work GK

What a story...Simply the best! I can't believe how good C05 actually looks! And the gameplay looks/sounds superb!

Thanks Hooper and Phil . Yeah i like C05 very much as there are lots of patches for it and the AI patch makers have done a great job in making wonderful AI patches . But hey the player stats screen and scorecards in the story are made from photoshop .

As i remembered i have given reps to Will .

England lose an early wicket

Everything for the start of the England innings with Glenn McGrath bowling the 1st over . England made a good start with both Strauss and Cook playing some confident strokes . The ball was moving a bit but England openers were confident enough to play some strokes . Looks like England are determined to get a lead and put Australia on the backfoot.

There were no surprises as Brett Lee shared the new ball with Glenn McGrath . Brett Lee has a good record in test matches as he has 211 wickets to his name and he will be trying to get quick wickets .

Brett Lee was aggressive with his bowling right from the start . He was bowling with pace and aggression and the field set was aggressive too . Both Strauss and Cook were finding it difficult to get bat on ball and there were few chances that the ball went past the outside edge . Both the batsmen were living dangerously . Withing no time Brett Lee brought the umpires in action as he appealed for lbw against Strauss . The ball was fast and well directed and it struck on the top of the pads of Strauss . The umpire took a good look at that one but then gave the benefit of the doubt to the batsmen as the ball might have gone over the stumps.
Strauss survives

But it didn't take too long for the Aussies to get the 1st wicket . Glenn McGrath provided the breakthrough for the Aussies by trapping Cook in front of the stumps . The ball was pitched inside the line of the leg stump and it straightened a bit after pitching and Cook was plum in front without a great deal of footwork . This time Steve Bucknor had no doubt in his mind and was very quick to raise his finger .
McGrath strikes early
