Good to see Symonds back in the team. He could be really good for the team and also Johnson. Seeing that he is in terrific form.

Very good to see Johnson and Symonds playing in the team. Best of luck for the Second Test Match Gamer. The presentation is great. :clap

David Gower : Hello and Welcome to Adelaide Oval for the start of the 2nd Ashes Test match between Australia and England. England were crushed by a heavy defeat of 247 runs at Brisbane in the 1st test by Australia who are leading the series by 1-0 after that win. Australia will be high on confidence after that huge victory and have moved a step closer to retain the Ashes but England will have to try to give their best to make a comeback in this series. England struggled with the bat in the 1st test in those situations when it mattered the most and everything worked according to the plan for Ponting. Warne bowled brilliantly in the first test but now its a new test match and England batsmen will like to forget what all things went against them in the previous test and should look forward to play some positive cricket in this match.
Ian Botham is on the pitch and is ready for the pitch report.

Ian Botham : Thanks David. The conditions are perfect for test cricket. The pitch is hard and fast and is a batting paradise with a lightning quick outfield. This pitch will be a run feast for the batsmen and the bowlers will have to work hard to pick wickets. Also this pitch won't crack too much as it did in Brisbane but still it will help the spinners during the final two days of the test match. The weather here is not too hot and we have some cloud covering as well which will prevent the pitch from being cracked a lot but if the sun stays out for the next 2 days then the pitch will start to crack and the spinners will play a big role in this match. Overall a good batting pitch and the team winning the toss will bat first and will like to put the opposition under pressure by posting a good first innings total.Back to you David.

David Gower : Thank You Ian. The toss was an important factor today and M.Vaughan called correctly this time and he had no hesitation in batting first on this pitch. This is what the two captain's had to say after the toss

M.Vaughan : The pitch is looking good for batting and we will try to post a big total on the board which will put pressure on the Aussies.

R.Ponting : : Not disappointed by losing the toss as the pitch has pace and our fast bowlers will be looking to pick up early wickets and we will look to restrict them inside 350 runs.

David Gower :Both the sides have some changes in their lineups with Australia replacing the injured Damien Martyn and Stuart Clark with Andrew Symonds and debutant M.Johnson. England have also made one change in their lineup as the promising youngster Stuart Broad makes his debut by replacing S.Harmison who bowled inconsistently in the last match picking up just 1 wicket. This might be a topic of debate as Broad was select ahead of Anderson and Sajid Mahmood but lets see how he bowls in this match.

Looks really good Gamer. Looking foward to Australia getting on top of the English nice and early.

Australia are still looking strong :) If Yuvi can do it against Broad then why not Ponting or Hayden eventhough its Test. ;)

Looking forward to it. Keep up the great works. :thumbs

That's a very good update.

England should get a good score batting first. The outfield is quick and should help the batsmen.

Awesome presentation Gamer. Now I am waiting for the good start of England's innings.

I don't think that any Australian batsman will think to hit 6 sixes of an over in test match even if Broad is bowling to them :p. If they are willing to do so then it will be easy pickings for Broad(in the wickets column ofcourse ;))

Thanks everyone for your replies:hpraise. Updates coming up shortly ;)
