Sajid Mahmood Strikes for England
Sajid Mahmood the promising youngster showed that he is capable of bowling consistent good line and length and also keeping the runs down.Also he got SriLanka's first wicket and now Engaland will be looking to get wickets and put the pressure on SriLankans.While Mahmood was bowling tightly Plunkett went for runs.England will have to something to get few more wickets as S.Jayasurya ,K.Sangakara and M.Jayawardena are most experienced batsmen in the SriLankan side.
This is what happened after the 1st five overs.
Sajid Mahmood who gave just 10 runs in his first 2 overs was full of confidence and was getting the ball in the right position and was not allowing the batsmen to play their shots.He bowled a good length bowl on the middle stump to Tharanga and Tharanga went for it but missed that completely and was bowled but the Umpire signalled a no ball.Sajid Mahmood was dissappointed as he saw in the replay that some part of his foot was on the line.He was more frustrated when Tharanga pulled the next ball for Four.
Tharanga Bowled off a no-ball:
Last bowl of his 3rd over S.Mahmood pitched that on the middle and leg stump which straightened a bit and Tharanga was bowled .This time it was not a no ball.England started celebrating as they knew that they can now put the pressure on the Srlankans.U.Tharanga played well for his 32 in just 26 balls with 7 boundaries.That was a good promising innings from the youngster as he gave the perfect start for the SriLankans.
Tharanga's wicket(Hawkeye):
K.Sangakara was the new batman in .He is a world class player and can switch his game mode to aggressive at any time and also he watches the ball very carefully .Once he is one the move then its very difficult to stop him. England need to get his wicket early .
Next Man in is K.Sangakara:
Sajid Mahmood completed his brilliant bowling spell of 4 overs and gave away just 18 runs and also got the wicket of Tharanga.He bowled a consitent line and length just on and around the offstump.He completed his spell with the figures of 4-0-18-1 which is brilliant in a 20-20 game..

K.Sangakara and S.Jayasurya got going and the partnership was going well.K.Sangakara was timing the ball beautifully and got 2 boundaries in Plunketts over.Jayasurya was playing carefully and was giving the strike to K.sangakara.A.strauss was bit worried and about the make another bowling change.

G.Chapple is well known for his allround performance in the county cricket and is a very handy bowler.Also the important thing was that he is in good form in the county cricket and he will certainly hope to continue that in this match too.Chapple bowled a short delivery to Sangakara and got him in some trouble.K.sangakara was in some pain but next ball G.Chapple bowled another short ball and which didn't bounce as expected but due to the slowness of thepitch Sangakara adjusted his shot and rocked it for a four on the backfoot.
The pitch certainly had some uneven bounce and its a good thing for England bowler if they pitch the bowl in right areas.

England have to be careful as Jayasuriya is there... Couple of quick wickets can turn the game in England's favour!!!

The bounce is so uneven and that should definelty play a big role in Sri Lanka's chase. 8.8 an over sounds hard but if Jayasuriya bats well anything is possible for the Sri Lankans.
