Nice total there by England. Hopefully I'll be in the next match. Now our bowlers have a nice total to work with

Iloveireland let Scion_Sid bowl the first over. Followed by Amodh.
In Amodh's first over he got us a breakthrough. He bowled a great ball that Fleming edged to Trescothick in slips to remove him for 2 run off 7 balls. FOW: 1/7
That was exactly what Iloveireland had wanted, an early wicket. That gave the team a lot of confidence.
In Scion_Sid's third over he got us our second breakthrough. He got Vincent bowled for 2 runs of 6 balls. Great work SID!! FOW: 2/27
Englands only problem it seemed was Fulton who was already on 22 from 14 balls including 4 fours.
After both had bowled five overs with Scion_Sid with figures of 1/21 and Amodh with 1/26 Iloveireland made a double change. He brought Dr. Pepper and Cricketmaddude in to bowl and took a power play.
In the 18th over we got another breakthrough. This time from some great fielding. We took a power play.
After both bowlers had bowled five overs and none taking wickets Iloveireland brought Navin and himself on to bowl.
Navin had almost immediate success getting a wicket with the last ball of his first over. Great catch by him too. FOW: 4/101
In Iloveirelands second over someone dropped a sitter in slips. First drop for the day. Tut tut!!
Navin got his second wicket in his 4th over. This time Oram.
The skip finnaly got a wicket in his 5th over. LBW. FOW: 6/157
They were ahead of where we were at 30 overs (2/142) with their 6/159 but they didnt have a lot of wickets left. Iloveireland brought Scion_Sid and Amodh back on.
Scion_Sid ended his 10 overs with 1/50.
In Amodh's last over he got a wicket. Taylor. Caught behind with a great ball. Nice work mate!!
Iloveireland decided to let Navin and CricketMadDude to bowl out the last 10 overs. They needed 7 an over.
Cricketmaddude got his first wicket courtesy of a great catch from Scion_Sid.
In the next over Navin got his 3rd!! Clean bowled Styris. Great work Navin, you probably bowled us to victory.
Cricketmaddude finished things off in his 9th over with his 2nd wicket. Vettori, caught behind. Great win boys!!

Richie: Well Mark that was a fabulous performance from the England bowlers.
Mark: Yes they did well. I thought at the end they might get there but England were to strong. Great work England.
Richie: Do you think England are better at ODI than there rank suggests??
Mark: Oh yes, yes. They are a very good team.
Richie: Lets look at the scorecards
Mark: Well looking at those scorecards it suggests to me that the batting of England won them the match. They were very good and probably should have got 300.
Richie: Yeh I agree, I do think their batting is great. I think England can win this tournament.
Mark: I agree Richie, I agree.
Richie: Now we cross to Slats who is with Iloveireland to present the MOTM awards.
Slats: Here we are, the MOTM awards. Prize is $500. Iloveireland is to make his speech.
Iloveireland: I like to keep speeches short, great work boys!!
Vettori: So do I. Well done England. You were great oponents.

PRESS RELEASE from Iloveireland
Iloveireland has said today that the team for the next game will be different. Since the World Cup is so long their will be a rotation policy throughout the series. Also he wants to see who is capable of what. There are also rumours that the VC has already been selected.

Kiwis almost reached the target. if they had preserved their wickets, England could have been in some sorts of trouble. Next time, England should bat with 300+ in their minds. It was a terrific dismissal of Vincent. Superb ball, Sid

GAME TWO- ENGLAND v CANADA.
After both teams coming in with lots of confidence after both winning their first games England couldnt afford to take it easy. Canada werent the strongest side but they had proved they were no push over.
Richie: Well here we are today to see this match between England and Canada.
Mark: Yes Richie, Canada are coming of quite an upset win. Do you think they can win this match??
Richie: Well England are favourites, but their is always a chance that England can lose.
Mark: Well looks like at the England side:
Richie: A few minor changes to the side. Nothing major.
Mark: Lets look at the line ups next too each other to compare.
Richie: Just looking you can see the major difference in the squads abilities.
Mark: My bet in England here
Richie: I have to agree with you. Now lets go to Tony Greig and Ian Healey who are in the centre
Tony: Well hello. This pitch is a batsmans paradise. Its poor for bowlers and very poor for spinners. The outfield looks fast and the light is very good. Perfect for cricket. The bowlers will have to bowl well.
Ian: Yes it is very good. I wouldnt be surprised if we see 300+ posted here. I would definately bowl first here.
Tony: Now to slats with Iloveireland.

Both Cook and Trescothick started well and look like they were going great until Cook who was the match winner last game was out LBW for 24 of 29.
After 10 overs we were 1/45
Scion_Sid was doing awesome until Trescothick ran him out for 30. Never ever was a run there. FOW: 2/89
After 20 overs we were 2/93
Trescothick ran someone else out. This time himself for 47. Remind me to get him to do some running inbetween the wickets practice at training.
After 30 overs we were 3/160
We lost Bell for 43 of 55. Caught behind. FOW: 4/185.
Freddie our new designated slogger came in.
He got 19 of 9. Pretty much did his job. FOW: 5/205
The skip brought up his 50. Then next ball was out LBW. FOW: 6/257
McPinch got his 50 from just 27 balls!! What a 50!! He got a boundary of a no ball.
A few balls later we lost little Navin for 23 of 16. He had a great little knock. FOW 7/302

Great total by the batsmen. Now the bowlers can look to skittle out the Canadians without any pressure
