I knew it would be a tricky game today and so it proved. Well done Everton, you deserved your win. That Rodwell is special - he reminds me of a young Michael Owen, only taller and with more upper body strength. No wonder Utd are planning a bid in the summer. Rooney had a bit of an off day today, but I think we'll allow him that. :)

You know Rodwell's basically a centre midfielder right? Not looked anything like Michael Owen in any other game I've seen him play. The goal today was epic though. Wins over United and Chelsea now. Best team in England confirmed.

What I should've said is the way he blasted past the defenders and slottled the ball home reminded me of Owen in his prime. With finishing like that, he could certainly become a player that could play as a striker or in midfield. Paul Scholes was played as a striker in his early years - just off the front man.

Chelsea will go four points clear now - can't see Wolves taking points off them. The important thing is that we're still within touching distance when they come to Old Trafford.

Side note - Old Trafford was 100 years old yesterday. Happy 'birthday', OT! :D

Johnny Evans. Gary Neville.

We had 2 defenders that don't belong at a club like United today. Stoke would have beaten us.

Johnny Evans showed schoolboy defending on numerous occasions this afternoon and especially Everton's third. He Can't make basic decisions. He either does nothing or does something stupid. I hope Ferguson layed into him and I hope that he never wears a United shirt again. Piss Poor excuse for a player.

Everton are always a hard team to beat at home to be fair..

If Chelsea dont win the league this year something is wrong.

Watching the Chelsea vs Wolves game earlier today, i heard the commentators talking about the possibility of all of Portsmouth games being erased this season??

I must say, today's defeat to Everton and Chelsea's win have moved the ball in their court. Chelsea and us, both play Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and ofcourse each other in the next 11 matches. And the team who could pick the most points from these 4 games will win the title. Yeah Chelsea also play Villa at home but Villa have been really poor in the past 7-8 matches.

Man U had the ball for nearly 21 minutes in second half and still they have not scored a goal, well you have to give some credit to Everton. Though they have been in good form at home lately, Moyce is doing excellent job with young players. Bilyadintov's strike was awesome.
I felt that when Man u play with Rooney and Berbatov upfront, Barbatov enjoys it but Rooney does not. It does not allow him to run freely like he normally does though that is my personal perception.
Also watched Portsmouth's match after a long time. Surely their fans deserve more than they get.
Glad that Arsenal did not miss out and took the opportunity to get close to Man U.

I see how despite hammering the two title contenders in succession we still aren't being considered for 4th spot. We'll see.

Yes and lets see Man City Vs Liverpool at half time. None of these team pushing hard to score. Lots of individual and collective errors. I would not be surprised, if it ends 0-0. Also it is so close contest for fourth place. Don't know why but I feel that Man city will be there at the end of the season.

Villa, Liverpool and City are better against the smaller teams than you guys. If you could become more consistant than you could steal that place away.

And it was hardly a hammering yesterday.

If Chelsea dont win the league this year something is wrong.

If Chelsea don't win the league, it'll be because they got less points than whoever did win. 'Something's wrong'. Why? Chelsea haven't been anywhere near as good this year as they were under Mourinho (huge mistake letting him go) - especially their away form. Remember that Chelsea still have to come to Old Trafford and I reckon we'll turn you over.

Give over. As soon as we equalized there was only one team who looked like winning.

Have to agree there. The key to the whole thing was that you equalised so quickly. If we could've kept it at 1-0 until half time, I think it might have been different.

Well firstly im not a Chelsea fan, i like both them & United. I am one of the few british people who doesn't have a strong affiliation towards a club. My main football team is the national side.

But going back to your point, for me Chelsea have loooked the better team this season & i'd be surprised if they dont snatch the league this season. They indeed may not be the same team like under Mourinho ATM, but they cant be too far off.
