Should've realised this would happen, since it's an away game! Man Utd are trying their best to get this to go down to the last day - the keeper in particular; not Van der Sar, Kuszczak. He's been truly awful today.

Edit: 1-1! Number 19, baby!

Remember this, Liverpool?

We've gone one better! Now let's roast Blackpool as a last day celebration. :D

Giggsy, in reply to the question about the quality of the team this year:

We've won the Championship and we're in the Champions League final - nah, we're a rubbish team.

Class. :D

20 years ago, Liverpool had won 18 English titles and United had won 7.

Now, United have won 19 titles and Liverpool still 18. :D

Well played Man United .
Blame it on us though , we really shouldn't have won at Stamford Bridge . :p
Now come back when you've won 5 ... :D

Its actually 21 years to be precise .

Double joy in Manchester!

So, it will be Manchester United vs Manchester City in next season's Community Shield.

Mmmm. I just hope the two sets of fans behave themselves in Manchester, given they'll both be out at the same time celebrating.

The performance against Newcastle summed up our season. No spark. No imagination. No creativity. No desire. Abysmal. :facepalm Something BIG needs to be done in the summer.

Really, how on earth a solid Arsenal side that managed to beat United at the Emirates two weeks ago go and lose to an Aston Villa side who have been average at best this season?! Then again, it's Arsenal after all.

Fortunately for us, that result pretty much guarantees us second spot. Man City could still catch us if they win their remaining two games and we lose next weekend but I can't see them overturning that massive goal difference!

On a flip side of things, Man City could finish 3rd which guarantees them automatic qualification to the Champions League group stage next season and that is certainly a bad news!

Liverpool losing AT Anfield to Spurs certainly brighten up my day a little bit as well. Great performance by Spurs and Ledley King was colossal in that Spurs defence. A shame really that he is suffering from the persistent knee problem.

Lastly, the relegation battle is certainly going down to the wire. West Ham losing 3-2 to Wigan after going 2-0 up in the first half really summed up their season. Anyway, they are already doomed and 5 clubs - Wolves, Blackburn, Birmingham, Blackpool & Wigan - will be fighting to avoid relegation. Can't wait for next week!

Thankfully we wont be playing the Europa League next season , its an utter bit of time waste ! A win was the deserving result for Spurs ; Suarez and co just couldn't find a way past their back 4 ... Dawson - what a captain's performance !!!

In other news , Ajax clinched the Dutch title after 7 long years beating FC Twente 3-1 at the Amsterdam Arena , that certainly lit me up to an extent . VDV would have been double proud of that . :thumbs
PSV missed out on a Champions League spot next season as they failed to win at Groningen . So ,its Europa League yet again for them .

You could still end up getting that 5th spot anyway. You'll never know what you're gonna get from Spurs. Furthermore, they are playing Birmingham next weekend, who are fighting for their survival in the Premier League. So, the possibility is there.

:lol at your prediction by the way.

BBC Sport - West Ham part company with Avram Grant

Why sack him now when they could and should have done that 5-6 months ago? :facepalm

:lol at your prediction by the way.

I initially thought that it was just me , but it seems the entire bunch of Liverpool supporters with the exception of Matt went by the same predictions . I basically couldn't control my laughter at those who had Joe Cole as the 'signing of the season' (including me). :lol
