Koscielny>Vermaelen

Walcott shouldn't be a striker. He's not clinical enough with his finishing and he doesn't have good enough short link up play. As frustrating as he may be, he works really well in his current roles making space for RVP and vice versa.

I said at the start of the season we needed to be safe by April because we have a tough run in and we've done it.

Except when he finds himself in central positions he's no less clinical than anyone else. His finishing is better than his crossing...

Wow, we got away with one tonight - when that challenge went in I had my head in my hands, I was that sure it would be a penalty.

Still, s'pose that evens up the one City got against Spurs, when Balotelli shouldn't even have been on the field. :p Advantage Utd, especially if we can come out of next week's Blackburn game unscathed.

Not for us it bloody doesn't haha

Yeah that's true, sorry about that. :) Still, the way you guys have been going, it wouldn't make much difference. Ever since the Harry for England stuff started, eh? Bet he ends up not even getting the job.

The interview he gave before the Chelsea game pretty much sounded like he'd already taken it.

Yeah Vermaelen's been brilliant but a lot more shaky this season. Koscielny is having a blinder.

Walcott can be a striker when he improves his finishing, yes.

Why is it people always say when theo gets better or whatever.

Hasn't he had enough time now in the top flight?

He has hardly improved at all since that hatrick away in croatia, for me he is as good as he will ever be, and that is average prem player,, nothing wrong with that just not good enough for arsenal or england.

If he was at villa,,, no offence,, he would look quality,, bit like downing.

Yeah. If, not when he improves his finishing, he can move inward. I am one of his biggest critics. He is very young, so maybe he can still grow, but he has been fairly stagnant for quite a while now.

Aston Villa love their pacey wingers so he could be a beast there. However he will end up failing at another big club, possibly Liverpool as they've been linked to him more than anyone, along with Chelsea.

He gets far more stick than he deserves. People love to hate in England, think it makes them feel better about themselves.

8 assists this season puts him joint 6th in the league, 4 behind the apparently mercurial Silva... There's a reason RVP always has space, and that's because Theo kills you down the right hand side if they double up on RVP.

That is undeniable. But the fact is he could add a LOT more to the team is he improves him game even a bit. This is shown in his MOTM performances, e.g. last weekend and against Spurs. Especially against Spurs, in the second half his improved concentration, decision-making, confidence and finishing showed.

A lot of the time all he does is free RVP space. He needs to do a lot more, as it's still like playing with 10 men with him occasionally.

Walcott tore us a new one at Carrow Road in November. He's capable of much more than he shows.
