Yep - that's the trouble with Theo, he doesn't show his full capabilities often enough. Perhaps a move away from Arsenal would benefit him? Look at Ashley Young - he's definitely become a better player since moving to Utd, as has Valencia. Not that Utd would be a good move for him - there's far too much competition for his position there.
I'm confused... consider this situation at the end of season:
EPL:
5. Chelsea
6. Newcastle
FA Cup: Chelsea beat Everton in the final
Chelsea and Liverpool will be locked-in for next season's Europa League in that case. The third representative is what confuses me - will it be Newcastle for finishing sixth in the league (or) Everton for finishing runners-up of the FA Cup?
I know Stoke lost to City in the FA Cup final last season and yet qualified for the Europa League under similar circumstances. But does that account only when the FA Cup winner's already qualified for the Champions League (City last season), or is it applicable even when the winner's already qualified for the Europa League (Chelsea this season)?
City slip up again. Slightly annoyed that they managed to pull a draw out of it, but make no mistake, that was a bad, bad result for them. It means we can afford to slip up against Blackburn (provided we don't lose) and still be one point ahead. Monday night's game is going to be a tough one - but we owe them one for the Old Trafford game. If we win, we go five points clear - if it continues like this, we could be well clear by the time of the derby game - and after that, we'll both only have two games left.
