They were so poor against Sunderland. Lucky they had Balotelli to bail them out and earn them a valuable point.

City were very lucky against Sunderland. Lol at the free kick argument. Also Arsenal drop points, poor team selection by Wenger, and despite Arsenals brilliant form they are still likely to concede goals. Torres scores a fine goal as well. Good day for EPL last night.

Liverpool! :)

What are the odds Chelsea end up not playing Europe at all next season? Only need Newcastle to finish fifth in the league, and a Spurs vs Everton clash in the FA Cup final.

Oh, that was wonderful.

doesn't surprise me. they've been quite bad recently. Perhaps you could say that they deserved more than they got against Arsenal, but against QPR and today against Newcastle they were truly shocking. I saw the first half an hour, and the last 10 minutes today. I'd say that from what I saw Reina was unlucky to get sent off, maybe a yellow card but the contact looked minimal.

0-2. Poor performance.

I was quite pleased to see Flanagan and Shelvey start the game. Then the positives dried up. Carroll's dive, our defending for the goals where even Skrtel looked average, Kenny's reluctance to help the team with an earlier sub, Reina's unnecessary red card, the overall lack of fight,... it was a very bad day this. Thought Suarez and Shelvey at least tried to make a difference. For me the Carroll dive and Reina's red card were typical for the day. Instead of going for the goal, Carroll just fell and hoped for the best. And I think Reina's red came from frustration, not so much from that episode itself, rather from frustration with everything. In simple terms we were crap.

But performances do matter and there were so many wrongs today. Carra instead of Coates? Sorry, but we gained nothing from that and it was just a very poor decision. Why are we so eager to play Carra when we have another, at least as good CB who needs to play games? Why no earlier subs? The team lacked character and our game fell apart by the minute. It was obvious to everyone nothing worked, so why continue? Where was the fight?

We still have 11 wins. From 31 games. And we have scored 36 goals. We are just very average and the season can't end fast enough.

Carragher was past it 3 years ago, he's a mid-table championship defender now.

Reina was definitely unluckly, guy went down like he'd just been kicked in the nuts. Carroll, that was just hilarious.

Like I said, I'm just waiting for this season to finish. If we finish above Everton, that's about as good as we can do at this stage. Embarrassing, but hopefully next season goes a lot better. Not much else to say that hasn't already been said.

Bloody hilarious mate! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen Utd players act like that towards each other, especially at this time of the season. City are imploding, just like poor old Keegan after Sir Alex's mind games back in '96. :D

They are imploding a bit but they've not been in this position before and it'll make them stronger for next season.

Their exact "I would love it moment" was possibly sending out Viera to attempt to try and play some kind of mind-games with Ferguson.

They can still win it, but if Ferguson wins back to back titles with possibly his two worst sides in memory, may well be a bigger achievement than the Champs League!
