Meaningless trophy, like carling cup. Pointless

We're still rubbish though

At least the Carling Cup has some proper length to it; this so called 'World Club Championship' feels like one of those pre season Emirates Trophy things or something.

One of the most undeserved Champions League titles ever IMO.

Di Matteo would've beaten Corinthians though, Benitez is a clown.

no, that would be liverpool.

fair enough to comeback was amazing, but it was down to milan brain freezing for 10 minutes rather than any period of great play. the final went 45 minutes of being dominated, 10 minutes of playing well while milan capitulated, an hour of being dominated while parking the bus. milan only have themselves to blame but they were a massively better team and dudek twatting about made a mockery of the penalty shoot out.

and at least chelsea won legitimately. liverpool's goal in the semi versus chelsea that year was offside, worst side ever to win a CL in the modern era.

I agree with Lee. The problems at Chelsea run deeper than losing a few minor cup finals. South American teams actually care about the World Club Cup too :p

That's why I said one of.

Chelsea were by no means even close to being the best team in England last season let alone Europe.

That's what happens in cup competitions

Where's the premiership after 38 games doesn't lie

You don't have to tell me we wasn't the best team in Europe or England, I know that and I'm cool with it

Doesn't change anything though, as our name is on that trophy forever, and I for one will never forget may 19th 2012, the greatest day in my life in sporting terms, that feeling of winning something you never thought would ever happen is priceless

And that is why I couldn't careless about anything than the premiership title now, nothing will ever beat that feeling, ever..

Ha today we saw arsenal's strong & weak area's on perfect display. When Arteta/Wilshire/Cazorla are on song its almost like watching barcelona's mid-field trio in action. But they have holes in defense, given the none of the mid-field (except wilshire) isn't that aggressive & could get exposed if teams run @ them.

Walcott got his chance in a central striker role & looked very good. Certainly deserves a longer run in that role. Wilshire also continues to look brilliant on his return - superb passing & great engine. But he needs to watch his aggression i feel, he gets himself involved in some rough tackles & unnecessary squabbles with players - which could see him get a significant red car for club & country in major games.

Walcott won't be here much longer, that's all you'll see of him as a central striker really.

Have to agree with your other views though.
