in my football manager game di matteo takes over the swiss national job.

laurent blanc is the next man u manager after fergie if it has any bearing on reality and guardiola sits out another 2 years and comes back to liverpool who instantly become very good.

BR should just keep telling Downing he's going to sell him. He's done quite well this season. Very solid and dependable. Not outstanding by any means (excluding tonight), but he's been reliable and has forced his way back into the team.

My utmost relief more than anything else was for the fact Suarez finally ended his six game goalless drought tonight, with his 14th of the season. #13 really was creeping me out over the last 30 days!

God, could City have cut that any more fine?? Pressure's on us now with a tricky little game at Swansea.

Solid debut for Rekik, solid in the sense that he was playing out of position at LB and still did pretty good, one for the future I hope!

Well played, ref. Well played. He just gave a freekick to RvP for a challenge that wasn't anywhere near as bad as the one he didn't give in the first half - when RvP was clearly yanked down from behind. That one led to Swansea's equaliser. :facepalm

Yeah, that Chico one.

Still, its the first draw in 21 matches for you. Quite a record.

True, and we're still four clear at Christmas.

Although it probably wasn't a penalty when the ball was blocked on the line, I've always wondered why a ball that's going in and is blocked by an arm is given as a penalty? After all, if the ball isn't blocked, it's going in - so I reckon that rule should be changed - a goal should be given instead. That'll put an end to the times when defenders blatantly stop the ball with their hands, like in the World Cup - Uruguay, wasn't it?

And what the heck were we doing giving Rooney that freekick? He'd had a terrible game up to then - RvP should've taken it. To come away from that with only one point is annoying though, especially after we hit the post twice. One other thing - although it was a difficult chance, Giggs would've felt he could've done a lot better when he tried to score with the keeper off his line - I think that was obvious the way he puffed out his cheeks afterwards.

Yeah, that one should be changed.

Could have been 3 points for you had it not been for Chico and Williams.
