m_vaughan;740048 I cant predict the future but as of now since we do have the money we have every right to spend. Its a footballing fact. The Spanish and Italian giants have been doing this for ages. Nothing wrong in that. Obviously its good to bring up youngsters and develop them into better players. But usually the smallers clubs end up losing all their promising youngsters to the bigger clubs.[/QUOTE said:If no-one gives decent young English players a chance and instead blow ?30 million on past it players like Shevchenko, then it is detrimental to the health of the England team and god knows it needs all the help it can get at the moment.
