No. Gallas did not at all instigate the headbutt. He did not put his head in as if he was going to hit Nani. It was Nani who decide to butt Gallas.

It's called Frustration, Phil. It's ugly and childish but don't act surprised that someone doesn't like being beaten 4-0. And, no, I'm not condoning it at all.

Why did Gallas stand there then? He kept his head towards Nani as well. I didnt see Gallas walking away.

Yeah, I agree with your second point, but it is petulance. Yeah your gonna be annoyed if your losing 4-0, but thats no excuse to make childish kicks out. I'm sure Wenger claimed something opposing what I just said after the match. It lacks class for a team that wants to win the Premier League.

Going back to the original point, I dont see why Nani is being blamed for this, Nani only retaliated to what Gallas did. Gallas instigated the whole incident, if he hadn't of kicked out, Nani wouldn't have used the 'headbutt'. Should have been a yellow for Nani and red for Gallas. To call it a headbutt is ridiculous, it wasn't a headbutt and it wasn't a serious threat from Nani.

I know this is old news, but look at the 'kick' that got Beckham sent off in the '98 World Cup (bloody hell, that's already ten years ago!!!!) The kick that Gallas gave Nani was far worse than that and the ref didn't even blink! Also, shortly after Nani's ball juggling display, an Arsenal player (can't remember who) came in with a tackle that if it had connected, could've done serious damage!

Robbed, absolutely robbed today. I can only think they had 2 chances, we had so many chances, and it wasn't our day. I dont know why Fergie took Tevez off at 0-0. But...

Martin Atkinson is a joke, if Keith Hackett gives him a game next weekend, then so is he. That was a nailed on penalty, ridiculous decision. Then to top it all off, he gives a very dubious penalty (Baros went into Kuszczak rather than the other way around) and gives a sending off to our substitute keeper, when there were 2 of our players behind the keeper. No protection to skillful players, and its sad for football, when someone so skillful and talented as Ronaldo, says he is considering changing how he plays because of the lack of protection. Diarra got away with endless fouls.

It's about time the refs realise how important their job is, the treble's over for us, and our season is in danger of going wrong. It was our best chance of winning a trophy this season, we're no way guaranteed to win the league or the champions league.
