Feb 27 - India v England

Swann actually showed his class.. he is going to be out of team soon after the England summer.. Useless... Good for only against non spin playing stupid nations like Australia :p

England can but hope we restrict them to 300. We need wickets. I don't think we've bowled all that badly and barring a couple of mis-fields from Shahzad, we've fielded well too.

England missing the lady really and Sachin is going exceptional now.
I don't expect anything below 330 now.

Harsh on the guy, but yeah he has been highly over rated. Is he the No.1 off spinner in the world right now? Ashwin looks far better.

So, is being useless on subcontinental pitches equivalent to being useless altogether?

Everything has gone India's way. It's a road though, so we still have a chance.

I think that's an unfair comment. Swann has consistently shown is the best spinner in Test cricket and an excellent performer in ODIs. Granted Indian batsmen are very good at playing spin and thus Swann is less of a force but to say he's only good against 'useless' players of spin is extremely unfair.

Not exactly. This pitch is not as flat as the Dhaka pitch where India got 370. There are balls that are stopping on the pitch. Anything over 300 here and India have an excellent chance of winning it.
