It was a fluke. I signed Carney jsut because I like him and that match was when you have two games inside one week so the stars were a bit tired.

Really annoyed though how easy it is to get sacked as manager. I was around the 7-8 position mark but then I lost 1-0 to Chelsea and all of the sudden the club wants me sacked. Two draws later against mid-range teams, and bam gone! Currently with Coventry City trying to froce my way back to Everton.

I've been sacked twice and the only clubs that give me an offer are 2 Irish clubs. Got sick of playing with liverpool and getting sacked so thats why I started the Barca save.

Yeah, I just simmed a season with the Irish club, then I got a whole list of clubs, not good one's though.

After 10 games on my Barca save, I'm on top by 4 points. It's been going good so far.

When you get sacked there's always two Irish clubs available, or so I've heard, seeing as I've never been sacked. Bit of an annoying EA bug really.

So, after the first season, are you relatively safe from been sacked?

Not necessarily but I imagine there are more suitable jobs available rather than just two Irish teams. The thing is with big teams is that board expectations are sky high and so if you lose several games in a row you are in danger of losing your job. Even having won the Liga Sagres and Portuguese Cup in my first season with Porto, my board confidence is average because of a loss and a draw in my opening 4 or 5 games of the new season.

Hmmm, might stay with Coventry City this season, simming every 2 out of 3 matches to get the season rolling a long. Then see what offers face me.

BTW, what do you guys play on? I play on World Class, but manual controls.

Legendary but assisted controls. Mainly because the one game I played on manual, with Ben, was honestly the worst game of football I have ever played. It may be realistic but what I want is to enjoy the realism and legendary with assisted gives me that. Going to get some more Porto games in today, that's if I can actually force myself to stop playing Motor Storm

Manual is only good when you're near the box and you can create realistic chances with better through balls etc. I play legendary, and with Barcelona they have been my most realistic games EVER on any footballing game. The way I've been passing, it's great. I'm having an absolute blast. So realistic.

Just seen probably the worst miss of an open goal ever. Having already scored two penalties a cross by Falcao lands at Walcott who swipes at it and misses the ball completely from 3 yards out with the goal keeper nowhere near it. Ahh well, 2-0 at HT against FC Kobenhavn in the ECC.

Bougth Ultimate Team today after another annoying sacking in MM. First impressions are pretty good. My team name is Tasmania United and so far only have a two star team full of people I don't know apart from Osman. The only bad thing about Ultimate Team is that I think getting the really good players are far to easy and soon enough everyone will have five star teams. Already i'm looking to buy players like Cahill.
