Got sick of manual controls. Auto shooting is life fail though, semi shooting is ftw.

Nah, Manual all the way. Only the skilled players play on it . I just think it's more realistic and less like of a 'ping-pong' style of play.

Slow mode I do play on, but I only play on Pro because I'm not the best.

What does slow game speed actually do?

Just slows the game down. More time to sort your defence and a realistic time on the ball. Can weave between midfielders when you first receive the ball and so forth. I haven't played on fast for ages so can't tell you the exact difference. I do get a lot more blocks through slide tackling in the box which saves goals though.

What is semi? What does it help you out with?

You have more freedom with the shot direction but the AI helps with the power I think. Manual shooting is extremely difficult but I got way pissed at fully assisted shooting.

Ahh damnit. Thanks anyways, Matt. I played an entire season of Manager Mode in the hope that I could use that team online .

Is it actually possible to play at the same speed online (no lag) as you do offline? Or do you have to adapt? That's the only thing that's keeping me from playing more matches online at the moment.

Online is always more difficult to play. The commands take longer to process and hence you get some scrappy games and it can be very frustrating. Still, if you would rather play a human than the same repetitive AI then keep playing online. The best thing to do is mix the two.
