Czech Republic Euro Challenge​

The idea of this challenge is to get as far as possible in the Euro 2008 competition with the Czech Republic. Points will be scored for wins, goals and the stage you get knocked out on, if indeed you do not win it. The player who gains the most points will win this round.

Here are how the points are scored:

Win = 10pts
Draw = 5pts
Lose = 0pts

Win by 1 goal = 2pts
Win by 2 goals = 4pts
Win by 3 goals = 6pts
Win by 4 goals = 8pts
Win by 5+ goals = 10pts

Lose by 3 goals = -2pts
Lose by 4 goals = -3pts
Lose by 5+ goals = -4pts

A player hattrick = 5pts
A penalty save = 2pts
A sending off = -2pts

Stages
Group Stage:
4th = 0pts
3rd = 1pts
2nd = 5pts
1st = 10pts

Knockout:
Knocked out in Quarter Finals = Just get the Group Stage points
Win Quarter Final = 30pts
Knocked out in Semi Finals = Just get the Quarter Final points
Win Semi Final = 60pts
Knocked out in Final = Just get the Semi Final points
Win the competition = 100pts

Note: There are no points added for getting knocked out in Quarters, Semis or Final as you get points for the round before. But points will still be collected from the match.

Others
Top Goalscorer = 20pts
Top Assists = 10pts
Top Average Rating = 15pts

The idea of this challenge is to try and lead plymouth argyle into the playoffs and the higher you get up the table the more points you get. Charlton have already secured promotion its just a matter who joins them.The player who gains the most points wins!

What a first game! A tough match but one we were expected to win at home to Colchester lying down in 21st place. First a mention of my two signings on the final day of the free transfer signings deadline. Patrik Berger was on a free after leaving Aston Villa in November of last year. A bargain seeing as he has shown to be a quality player over the years. Also signed Riccardo Scimeca who had played 9 times at U21 level for England. Both the signings will help strengthen our midfield, the most important part of the squad in the next few weeks.

Onto the game. They had most of the early chances but we made the breakthrough. Chris Schuker scoring on the brink of half time. Bad news on the inury front though as Paul Conolly went off after 8 minutes, and new signing Scimeca took a knock and came off at HT. We came out looking better but on 69 minutes Kevin Lisbie levelled. We pushed and pushed, Nalis had to be sacrificed as Chadwick came on in a 4-3-3 formation. Chadwick was the man who won it late. Scoring from a tight angle to cap off an awesome game.

Plymout 2-1 Colchester! Up into 7th now

I won my match 2-1 too with ebanks blake and chadwick netting for me strengthened my squad with a couple of free signings too. Still in 8th results didnt go my way.

Just beat preston 2-1 with ebanks blake scoring twice but got yellow craded and has a one match ban Up to 6th in the table though
