It's not just you that want's him gone though. And most of the replacement's being thrown around have for the most part's been international failures.

Uthappa would have been a better selection. He is a specialist opener and can take up the gloves if Dhoni is injured (even Dravid can do it but Uthappa is better).

i.e. Never underestimate West Indies. 2 times CT finalists( WI vs SA, WI vs Aus ) and 1 time winners ( WI vs Eng ).

But is it because they simply play for a particular team or is it because they had some great players? On the long term, sure, inconsistency means a lot of failures and that results in a poor reputation, but those teams included stars such as Gayle, Chanderpaul, Sarwan and Lara. On the short term, it's hardly shocking to see a team like that win 4 out of 4 games, or even 3 out of 5 games as they did in the last Champions Trophy.

Yes i agree west indies are the weakness team in this tournament, But.
Cant kill them because they lose against Bangladesh.
Image a Full team been Replace Only 48 Hours before there first Test No Practice no Preparation, no nothing.

TO me this current West Indies have nothing to lose, these boy are playing for he pride of West Indies, and i know they can Do good in this tournament and people should not right them off.
because cricket is played on the day. Because who would imaging Ireland beating Pakistan in the World Cup or Bangladesh beating India.Even West Indies Top class Players were beaten by Kenya. and what about Mighty Australia going down against Bangladesh. anything can happen.

Also many people Keep on saying this Team is a second string team of West Indies, But to be honest West Indies have been playing with a second string team for over 10 year now.
yes We may win a few ODI and test Matches and maybe did good in some tournament, but the main question is, Did Gayle and Company, Actually improve West Indies, to be honest NO.

we have remain Number 8 for a VERY long time. and this current West Indies May not have the experience at international level, But I as a West Indies fan, I would really like to see this team, been train and improve as they play more matches, I personally know, improve cannot come over night.
but these boys along with more new players to come into the West Indies, Can change the future of West Indies.
I my personally view, is i would never take back Gayle and company, I am Big fan of Gayle, but they have destroy West Indies cricket. We may take who ever side WIPA or WICB. but the main problem is West Indies most experience player haven't given west indies any pride at all, all they played for is Money and they kept on losing, losing and losing.

So I wish these New boy Luck and hoping If they dont win at least they perform good and show a positive performance. Good luck to them
