Group B - Bangladesh, Bermuda, India, Sri Lanka

Uthappa GONE!

The way he was batting, he was waiting to get out anytime!

Sehwag IN here! Can Sehwag repeat his Bermuda heroics???

India need to reach 150 without the loss of more than 1 more wicket.

Ideally, I say if India want to win, they have to reach 255 for the loss of no more than 9 wickets.

Good shot by Sehwag. The pitch is looking nice (touchwood).

8.2 Vaas to Sehwag, FOUR, short of a good length and outside the off, the ball comes onto the bat nicely and Sehwag carves it through cover in typical fashion. That was well struck!
Looks like Viru is on his way :)

8.4 Vaas to Sehwag, FOUR, BANG! That ball does not swing, is a touch too full and Sehwag carts it back over the bowler's head. That's another boundary for Sehwag ...
If he scoes a fifty/hundred and wins us the match, then India's chances of winning the WC will significantly grow. An inform Viru is unstoppable.

Definitely. If Viru can continue his good form, India's chances will grow significantly! He looks good so far. But also helped by no great deal of movement for the bowlers!

Well, Dada sure picked a great day to have a bad day with the bat

He was lucky in the previous two innings not to pick the fielders when hitting in the air. He is really really stuggling to force the pace these days. We need to re-visit the idea of having Ganguly open the innings. Both openers must be capable of playing quickfire inning's.

Ganguly might have to come in the middle.

I am completely relying on Dravid today! He is due for a crucial good knock! Saurav has failed today. Dravid has to FIRE!

It's the law of averages. I mean--he cannot be expected to make 6 fifties in 7 games. :D

Maybe the bookies fixed this one to make it more interesting.

Who would open, then? Sehwag and Uthappa? Sachin and Uthappa? Uthappa and Pathan? Munaf and Zaheer?

Munaf and Zaheer.

Oh dear--Sri Lanka survive 5 inside-edges and Sachin gone on the first one.

Tendulkar and Sehwag to repeat world cup heroics like 2003? Of couse! Bring on da gangsta sh*t!!!
Oh great Tendulkar is gone. I dunno how we're gonna make it now.
