I never said i wanted to leave, all i said is that the space for a sig is ver minimal...you refuse to listen to any argument against the 'rules',but i've always known your a stickler for such things.Shouldn't even have bothered.

I can not change the rules. My job is to enforce the rules. The admin can change the rules, and if you can present an argument to them as to why they should be changed they will listen.

Hardly, the only thing increased sig limits will bring is bigger, uglier signatures that bloat page loading times and take up huge amounts of screen space, particularly for people on low resolutions. Nobody needs a poster below every post they make, or messages in big coloured fonts like we saw before the new rules- in the end we want a forum that looks clean and is easy to navigate, big distracting signatures don't help that at all. This debate has been done to death, please don't continue to clutter this topic with more signature issues as it's really not the purpose it was made.

Sigs are stupid, its so annoying scrolling through sigs just to see what someone has posted. Your lucky your got what you've got.

Equally please understand that Andrew telling you to reduce your sig size is certainly not personal. Despite what you may imagine you are not special and Andrew doesn't waste his time on you because you are. The sig rules are there to make a better navigating experience for everyone; I'm a member of a forum with no sigs and avatars allowed.
We have a rule here which applies to everyone so please accept it or, if you can think of a compelling reason for us to change it, PM one of the admin.
Like Brad said, can we get back on topic.

OK, I am sorry for starting this argument, this is a great site, and I am hounerd to be apart of this fantastic forum, fantastic Admins, Great Mods, etc.

Well see how you go without one for a while.

Please guys, Let's not argue on the topic which is senseless. A rule is a rule, it should be followed no matter what you think about it and even if you don't like it,then too, there is no point in arguing, let's get on with the original topic.

Ok, lets just leave the argument at that, or else, I reckon the topic should be closed.

The thing is, sachin, that you don't have a real argument. Andrew repeatedly removed your signature because it was over the limits, 300*100 pixels. All you need to do is design a 300*100 signature and you can keep it!

The real problem is there is hardly any leniancy or proper warnings. Mine was 10 pixels over - 10 pixels!!!. Thats like 1/100th of a screen, how much is it gonna slow down someones computer!!!??? It got removed.
More importantly, I was told it was larger. I said I would resize it if told how much larger, yet I never was told. I have no idea how to measure it, like many people here. Many people here don't have photshop or tools like that, and get their sigs unwittingly removed. That isn't fair. Seriously - 10 ****in pixels!!! :mad

Atleast you could have a built in tool which tells us the size of our sig when we edit it, if you are so strict.
