not sure how good he is back there in the past, but here in 2010 he's very consistent. :)

Club Update

Fraizer Campbell is a Seasider for the season
Man United youngster Fraizer Campbell is to be part of Jack Teague's Blackpool squad ahead of their first season in the Championship after promotion from League 1 via the playoffs last season. Campbell adds to Blackpool's squad just a few days after Blackpool signed Liverpool defender Jack Hobbs, also for a season long loan. With just two loan deals made so far Teague will be hoping he can bring in a few more players before the start of the season.

Bouazizi deal accepted
CA Bizerte have accepted a £100k offer for 34 year old Tunisian defensive midfielder, Riadh Bouazizi. Bouazizi has been targeted by Blackpool manager Jack Teague for a while, but has decided to have no comment on the offer. Jack Teague will be hoping he can come to an agreement with the player of his contract. If the deal goes through Bouazizi will be Teague's first transfer at Blackpool.

Inverness seal Blackpool's Adrian Forbes
Inverness CT has signed Blackpool's right midfielder Adrian Forbes for £35k. Teague made it clear that he wanted Forbes to move, and this seemed to be the case when an offer for Forbes was accepted from Shrewesbury Town. Forbes couldn't agree on the contract and so he remained a Blackpool player. Teague has left him out of all of Blackpool's friendlies and placed him on the transfer list. Inverness managed to grab the player just 1 season after moving to Blackpool for a free from Swansea.

Sky Bet promotion odds
Sky Bet have made West Brom and Charlton favourites to lift the title, with Watford and Wolves close behind. Blackpool are expected to have a tough fight to stay in the division, and that is reflected with odds of 80/1.

Rhys and Rich: Would love to know who you feel should play after our dreadful performance in Dublin. You don't have to put the line up if you don't want to, just a small paragraph will do :)

Jaz, Ben and Giggity: Keep searching for good buys. The ones named already will be looked at!

Next game is against Gillingham!

Brilliant news RE: Campbell

So good we got him.

A CM - William Vainqueur (or something like that, try a combination) [Pronounced {in my head anyway} "Van-kerr"
Not sure how he is in 2007, but as before, in 2010 he's mint. One for the future.
Also, Lee McArdle, on the books @ Everton, see if you can snag him.

Gillingham vs Blackpool @ Priestfield, Gillingham

Much needed win here for Blackpool coming off the back of two huge defeats. A 7-1 loss to FC Bayern and then a surprising 5-0 massacre away to the University College of Dublin. Time for jack Teague to turn form around. They face Gillingham who had won 2 of the last 3 games. Jack Teague will be hoping new boy Fraizer Campbell will be able to stamp his mark on this Blackpool side by having a good debut performance.

Manager Comments
Defence very poor again. Need to strengthen that area. Outplayed for 84 mins, and that one piece of magic by Campbell won the game. 25 yard strike curled in top right corner. An absolute beauty debut goal, which changed the game and wonder sub Cold snatched a draw for us. Need to strengthen the back though. Attack looks good when they get the ball.

Much better performance all round. Defence were a lot sharper and although had a few mistakes, an overall improvement from the other games. Strikers looked sharp, Campbell again in the spot light making a good run and setting up Morell's goal. Deserved the win to be fair, but a few missed chances, including a chance that was harder to miss than score. Overall looking ok but no where near good enough to make mid table in the Championship at the mo!

Next Game: Blackpool v Wolves @ Bloomfield Road, Blackpool - Championship!

Club Update

Loan's galore - Motta and Eagles offers accepted
Manchester United's Chris Eagles and Athletico Madrid's Thiago Motta have both had loan offers accepted. Blackpool have struggled to find permanent deals at the start of the 07/08 season, and manager Teague has been forced to make season long loans. Young stars of Jack Hobbs and Fraizer Campbell have already been picked up, and if Eagles and Motta accept contracts then Blackpool will have real strength this season.

Li Tie moves to Bloomfield Road
Sehffield United's midfielder Li Tie has signed for Blackpool in a ?100k, 2 year deal. Sheffield United had placed Li Tie in the reserves and Blackpool manager Jack Teague decided to put in an offer. Li Tie has stated he is looking forward to reviving his footballing career under Jack Teague and his backroom staff at Blackpool.

Bristol City captain Carey to stay put
Louis Carey, Bristol City captain and central defender, will be staying at newly promoted Bristol City. Jack Teague, a well known Bristol City fan, placed an offer in for the very highly rated defender. But an offer of ?130k was turned down by Gary Johnson because of his importance at the club.

Ben Clark on his way to Blackpool
Hartlepool defender Ben Clark has had an offer of ?42k accepted for a move to Blackpool. Blackpool have offered him a contract and it has yet to be announced whether the 24 year old will sign for them. Clark will be 1 of 3 signings that have been brought in by Teague to bulk the defence.

Next Game: Blackpool v Wolves @ Bloomfield Road, Blackpool - Championship!

ok Ben you get the job.

If you could take a look at the alst few pages and check out all our games. Then could you post your comments on any players, the team and any tactics that could be useful. Then finally could you post your squad of 16 showing the players and their position in the starting 11. When you find time that is :)

Same for you Rich...
