Blackpool vs FC Bayern @ Bloomfield Road, Blackpool
Welcome to today's friendly between Blackpool and German side FC Bayern, all live on PlanetCricket.net. Blackpool come into this game after a 2-1 victory over Inverness CT on Sunday afternoon, but they will face much tougher opposition today. FC Bayern hold many international stars including Ribery, Klose, Ze Roberto and Sagnol, to name a few. The 4 time UEFA Champions League winners will be looking for some form before they start their Bundesliga campaign. With a loss already to Peterborough on this tour of England they will be hoping to rectify that before they play West Brom on Saturday.
Here are the teams for today's match:
Teague makes just one change from the side that beat Inverness CT on Sunday. Andy Morell is replaced by Keigan Parker upfront. Claus Jorgensen has been moved up from the reserves into the 1st team and is on the bench today. Hills and Barker will need to be on their toes today as they have Ribery and Z Roberto to handle. Blackpool's defence will need to stick tight to international forwards Toni and Klose and try and limit them to as little chances as possible.

Our defence today was terrible. Every time they got the ball they had a shot on goal, and the stats reflect that. 30 shots with 19 on target, show how Evans had a great day and still conceded 7 goals. They were a complete different class and their finishing was a credit to them. I think 7-1 didn't tell the whole story but our defending deserved the score line. We had a fair bit of possession but every time we had the ball in their half it broke down and turned into a Bayern attack. I was pleased with Keigan Parker and Claus Jorgensen, as well as Evans in goal. A lot of work needs to be done in strengthening the defence and the signing of Hobbs will hopefully do that.
