The Seasiders bag young Hobbs for season

Blackpool have sealed a season loan for 18 year old Liverpool defender, Jack Hobbs. Manager Jack Teague said he was delighted to have the talented defender in to boost their back line for the forthcoming season. Jack Hobbs has not had much experience in the premiership but has been waiting in the wings for a long time and Blackpool hope this will be the season he can show his real potential and skill. Hobbs has told press he is looking forward to actually playing some 1st team football.

Forbes stays with Blackpool

Blackpool striker Adrian Forbes has rejected a contract from Shrewsbury Town after Blackpool had accepted a £35k bit for the striker. He couldn't agree terms with the League 2 side, saying he wasn't happy with the duration of contract he was being offered. Forbes has been placed on the transfer list by new manager Jack Teague and is likely to be shipped to another club before the season starts.

Teague makes bid for Cameroon midfielder

Blackpool Manager Jack Teague has revealed to the press that he has placed an offer in for Cameroon and Sheffield Wednesday player Joseph Ndo. The 30 year old has only been with Sheffield Wednesday for a few months but Jack Teague feels he would be a good man to bring into the team. A £40k offer has been made for Ndo. There has also been speculation linking Tunisian defensive midfielder Riadh Bouazizi with a move to Bloomfield Road. The CA Brizerte player is valued at £100k, playing just 15 games since he joined in 2006.

How much max and how many players do you want?

here is the player search form I wish you guys to try and stick to:

Position: Any Midfield (not defensive or attacking, just normal)
Max Price: 50k
Transfer Type: Transfer, but short loan is good also
Skills: I am looking for a creative player who is a good dribbler

Other Comments: Try and find someone with good potential, aged around 18 to 24. He has to be able to get a work permit.

A bit tight with money but hopefully we can find a good bargain!

I'm known for finding bargains so will do my best.

Adrian Calello
Leonel Vangioni(Big bargain)
Adrian Lucero
Matias Cordoba
Ramon Ocampo(Mind blowing bargain)
Diego Buonanotte
Oswaldo Rodriquez

Most of them are Attacking midfielders although I thought they were too good a bargain for them not to be posted.

Hmm it seems that when I search for players it isn't finding them. I am using the large database but still on search it is not finding players. I mean Tunisia didn't have Dos Santos or Ben Saada who I saw play in the quater final and thought were fantastic. Any reason for this?

Maybe sometimes players won't show up as maybe you might have to either be playing in that continent(close country etc...) or maybe you have to of loaded up all players from that area/country.

A guess.

Adrian Calello - Independiente
Leonel Vangioni - Newell's(Maybe reserves)
Adrian Lucero - Newell's(Maybe reserves)
Matias Cordoba - Argentinos
Ramon Ocampo - Velez
Diego Buonanotte - River
Oswaldo Rodriquez - America

There ya go.

Blackpool vs FC Bayern @ Bloomfield Road, Blackpool

Welcome to today's friendly between Blackpool and German side FC Bayern, all live on PlanetCricket.net. Blackpool come into this game after a 2-1 victory over Inverness CT on Sunday afternoon, but they will face much tougher opposition today. FC Bayern hold many international stars including Ribery, Klose, Ze Roberto and Sagnol, to name a few. The 4 time UEFA Champions League winners will be looking for some form before they start their Bundesliga campaign. With a loss already to Peterborough on this tour of England they will be hoping to rectify that before they play West Brom on Saturday.

Here are the teams for today's match:

friendlyvsfcbayernfx4.jpg

Teague makes just one change from the side that beat Inverness CT on Sunday. Andy Morell is replaced by Keigan Parker upfront. Claus Jorgensen has been moved up from the reserves into the 1st team and is on the bench today. Hills and Barker will need to be on their toes today as they have Ribery and Z Roberto to handle. Blackpool's defence will need to stick tight to international forwards Toni and Klose and try and limit them to as little chances as possible.

Manager Comments
Our defence today was terrible. Every time they got the ball they had a shot on goal, and the stats reflect that. 30 shots with 19 on target, show how Evans had a great day and still conceded 7 goals. They were a complete different class and their finishing was a credit to them. I think 7-1 didn't tell the whole story but our defending deserved the score line. We had a fair bit of possession but every time we had the ball in their half it broke down and turned into a Bayern attack. I was pleased with Keigan Parker and Claus Jorgensen, as well as Evans in goal. A lot of work needs to be done in strengthening the defence and the signing of Hobbs will hopefully do that.

HAHA! :D

Taylor-Fletcher used to play for us at Sincil Bank, when we bring in the players I mentioned or any others I meantion to you over MSN in the future, we will be a force worther reckoning with.

It really was very poor at the back. Jaz If you could find me either a right back or left back who are on the free agents list that you reckon could improve the squad.

I want to scout those South American players but because they are on a different continent I can't. So Ben could you look around Europe for some decent players.

Jaz's Scouting Form:
Position: Right or Left Back
Max Price: free
Transfer Type: Transfer
Skills: Pretty pacey and a good tackler

Ben's Scouting Form:
Position: Any Midfield (not defensive or attacking, just normal)
Max Price: 50k
Transfer Type: Transfer
Skills: I am looking for a creative player who is a good dribbler
Area: Europe

Will PM Ben to get him down in this thread!

Off the top of my head Ignasevich would of already been signed on a free and off the top of my head Sepsi was only about £26k for me.

I will try and find a free transfer though .

P.S After I have updated my story though

My reccomendations:

Quinton Fortune
Sergey Ignasevich
Hatem Trabelsi
Percy Olivares
Marko Rehmer
Kris Gate
Roque Junior

My reccomendations on Ben's form:

Walter Centano
Jari Litamen
David Thompson
Mustapha Hadji
Matias Almeyda
Shoes Moshoeu
Neil Wood

That was a quick look, although some of them have probaly already been signed. Thought I would do 7 of each. ;)
