Briggsey sacked

Briggsey has been sacked as the manager of Blackpool.

The chairman Lee Payne announced that the Yorkshireman had left the club at a press conference on Friday.

"When a football club appoints a new manager, the board and the fans expect that manager to move the club forward," Payne explained.

"Briggsey was in charge for long enough to sign some players and get Blackpool winning matches. He did none of that, so he had to go."

The board of directors are now appealing to potential managers to apply for the vacant position.

Richard Matthews Scout at the club had this to say

" I have to admit im not surprised i never trusted Briggesy as a manager or friend and knew it was the wrong decision. I enjoy my current job at the club but will not deny that i would rather be manager but ill leave it too the board of directors and lee to make their decision"

Right bring it on! I'll get to work on posting team details and what not. If anyone could post players they think would be good signings, that would be great...
