India in England/Ireland/Scotland

cook dropped for freddie.. wright opens..

wright and prior opening could be fun..

batting cloud..are u sure rahul ??

Finally, Cook is gone. Now we must get Prior out, Ambrose in and somehow squish Key in too ;)

Dropping Cook is harsh, ok he hasn't had a good series apart from the first game but he's one of our only batsmen whos shown he's capable of scoring a 100. He's still young so he'll get another chance but he's not going to learn much not playing. Maybe it will make him better when he comes back

You have to feel like Ganguly just won't ever get out. He's trying hard.

Yep. He's found his eye.

England won't win today, you can tell it's one of those days where you get no luck

I am a legend, I knew cursing him would work :p

lol he could have been out of every bll he faced..

guess it just wasn't his day..

I feel dropping Cook is a good move. We have 2 aggressive openers at the top of the order, and maybe having Wright supporting him will suit Prior. Prior feels, with Cook that he has to push on and be aggressive, but with Luke Wright at the top with him, we can see Prior try and bat a good few overs and get a big score behind him. A big score should put an end to any selection worries he has. I think its a good selection. Bringing Flintoff in is a risky one, but if he is fit, he has to play. The balance of the side looks very very nice, loads of bowlers and a decent batting line-up.

yay for Jimmeh :D. Been our best bowler in the series and proves it again, what a leg end.

You got to be absolutely kidding right? KKD for Dhoni when Dhoni hasnt done too much wrong in the last few games? Dhoni's 35 was quite important too. Had he remained few more minutes, he would have surely opened up and probably taken us to victory. His keeping has actually been even better what his previous works in this series. He was brilliant in those 6 dismissals which equalled the world record.

I think we got to go with Agarkar this game and finish him off once and for all. With Powar and Zaheer in the team, we cant afford to have Munaf and add to the pathetic fielders in our team. Once the series is over, Sreesanth has to replace Agarkar and Irfan or someone else got to replace Munaf. Munaf should be kept out for a longer time. All his problems are in the mind and until he gets that sorted out, he needs to stay out.

I forgot Dhoni. my bad.
Dada gone. Ghambir comes in... Dang.
It just doesn't feel like he's fit enough for this job..

Direct hit OR a person backing up and Ghambir was gone by like a gazillion miles.
Luck favours the brave/Indian cricket team :p

Is it nerves for the batsmen in there or for the spectators watching? Every ball it gets close, my heart gets to my mouth.

Sachin looks positive enough in the middle. Got to badly back that up with a real good score. This could be his last international game in England. Ganguly deserved that. He was batting badly today. All the determination gave way for some greedy fast runs and he paid the price for it. One match doesnt make his technique bad but it was his intentions that cost him today.

Dravid has made the right decision today. No movement, no swing. Only overcast skies. India needs to get a 320+ total to have a chance of winning here.

It just doesn't feel like he's fit enough for this job..

Yes, not the person for this type of a situation. But he has to stay in. Whenever the opening partnership isnt big, the No.3 has failed. Hope Gambhir changes that today.

I think what is more likely is that both Prior and Wright will get out for low scores.
