India in England Jun-Sept 2014

This is actually part of England's big master plan; get Shastri in as Indian coach by intentionally losing a few games and then thump them when he struggles...

Actually that is just England taking a leaf out of Ind's masterplan to make Cook look good and do long term damage :)

To be honest it was actually quite funny looking at Shashtri moving around on the balcony with purpose as if the win was all thx to him :D

Sir getting a 4 wicket haul .. just when you think he was losing his magic (terrible in Tests)

I was watching the fall of wickets just now, and based on what I have seen Paul Rieffel is definitely a 'not out' umpire and not an 'out' umpire with regard to LBWs. He is the one who gave Bell n.o LBW against Pankaj at the third test. That Jordan dismissal is the first LBW I have seen him give this entire series, including tests, and now we know it has to be absolutely plumb, before Rieffel will even consider giving something out LBW. :D

I quite find something charming about that.

@Untouchables666 Where are you? Where hvae you disappeared off to the second India got the upper hand in the match? I am missing all the negativity you bring. Tell us how this is an over-rated performance, and how India will still lose the series 4-0.

India didnt win, England lost!

Good to see Raina in form.

Hales promises so much. Good to see him there.

All said and done I do want to see some rotation. Lets have Samson and Umesh play the next match. Bhuvi sits out, he needs a rest, probably Kohli take a break and clear his head for a match and make way for Samson. Or, Rahane open instead of Dhawan, to make way for Samson.

No rotations will happen in the next game, let alone the drastic changes you have suggested. Going by MSD's history so far, he wont tinker with the winning combination. There is an off chance that Bhuvi might get a break.

I have not really suggested any thing drastic. Dhawan is making himself unselectable on this form. Ind can't take him into the WC on this form. Yes he was a breath of fresh air a year ago, but he seems very poor right now.

ALso the rotation in bowling is obvious. Just so many bowlers to be tried still, and Binny will play a game I am sure.

Hopeless performance. I knew we were going to lose, but that was an embarrassment. Ian Bell has had a shocker. Jordan, as I have been saying for the last few months along with everyone else, is not good enough. What do the selectors see in him. We were told he could bowl 90 mph...well maybe he could, but he's wawyard bowling 82/83, let alone 90! I can;t understand for the life of me why Ballance and Ali, out two in form players, were not playing. I'm delighted with Hales getting 40. Hopefully he'll continue to make runs and get a chance ahead of the Aussie. Well done to India. You batted superbly (except Koli....)
