DRS is not 100 % foolproof technology. BCCI is not against technology but against imperfect technology. Yes, DRS works.. but most of the time it sucks.
DRS works almost all the time. The problem is not the technology most of the time but those using it. It is well known in LBWs for example, that if it is not clearly hitting or missing then it will stay with the umpire's call. When that happens there is no point grumbling about DRS being rubbish, instead you should realise that it wasn't a clear cut decision that could have gone either way.
DRS is meant to be used when the batsman edges into his pads and given out, or when he hits it in the middle of the bat and not given out caught. Other uses are speculative and when it comes back to bite the team, that is not DRS's fault.
