Yep, this is the lineup I hoped would be chosen, both a deserved debut for Sai and a coneback for Karun. The idea of playing 3 allrounders made the lineup look a bit shaky, in English conditions none of Jadeja, Reddy, Thakur or Sundar can play the role of pure bowlers/batters, so the more allrounders you chuck in there the more you're weakening both bowling and batting.

Good batting performance from India, bar the debutant. I have grown up seeing India tottering at lunch time around 47/5 in SENA test matches. This is a welcome surprise.
