India tour of New Zealand - Jan to Feb 2014

This is what buddy he is playing freely. And as far as I know Dhoni, he will go for long hits in last. Yeah, its better to score with singles untill we are close.

Zaheer was a much better batsman even until the tour to South Africa in 2010. If anyone will say he's a better batsman now looking at today's performance, no sorry! He just isn't.

Although it's good to see that Dhoni is being saved by Zaheer who is getting most of the strike, cause Dhoni is simply not looking comfortable. More of Zaheer seeing off the new ball is actually benefiting us.

Ajinkya wasn't out, Dhoni wasn't too. Only the way kiwis can win in. :D

Karma is biting back at India here with these poor calls going NZ`s way. No DRS, yay!

I'm quite tired of this ---- where fans call out the BCCI's refusal to use the DRS as some sort of justification for poor calls going against India's way...

No offense, but you sound like a sore loser. NZ won, and the umpire's decision is final. Got a problem with that? Then go complain to the BCCI to include DRS.

Another day, another win. Wonderful Test Cricket.

Well done NZ .. Wagner saved Brendo from being tagged villain for not enforcing the follow on.

I am off to sulking .. cheerios

I would say its probably 60-40 in Indias favour right now. Our bowlers looked really peeved off out there (especially Boult) and they were pretty flat (understandably) in that last session. The batsman should be personally apologising to the bowlers for that sorry effort. Even if we do somehow sneak a win, Rutherford and Fulton both simply have to go, they are walking wickets every time they are out there. I mean both of them barely scored anything against a West Indies B attack. I'm all for keeping a winning side but it gets to the point where you can't keep picking players that are doing nothing. Bailey in the Ashes is a good example. I would go with Latham and either Papps or Flynn for the next game.

What about Guptil as an opener?, although i'm aware he hasn't always replicated his ODI form as an opener in tests

Well, it is true. And there are calls against all teams. It's okay to call foul when it's a howler, but not otherwise.
