I dreamt that Badri played in the first game. Maybe Murali Vijay is yet to be injured along with Yuvraj singh suffering from a form drop. :p

I dream that Badri plays every game. :(

Where is Tiwary right now? Am hearing absolutely nothing about him. He is back from that injury which severely affected his international start right?

He has had a good season scoring 494 runs at an average of 49.14 with 3 centuries and one fifties. After a slow start to the season he made his mark as the lone warrior in the Ranji Trophy match against Tamil Nadu.

He could have done with a couple of more centuries, or Bengal getting into the final, and him tonking another ton.

I would've never brought Sharma in the first place. Rather Tiwary, Badrinath, etc, who have been performing for much longer periods of time.

That's the thing with our selectors. They pick players who are playing well at that very moment, not players who have been performing over 3-4 seasons like Badri. When will they learn...

The young batsmen that stand out this season are Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Abhinav Mukund, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, Uday Kaul, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ameya Shrikhande, Robin Uthappa and finally Manoj Tiwary. Here's the list.

Hoping for a big season by Ravi next year, he is awesome.

Badri has had an average season by his standards - 876 runs at an average of 62.57, highest of 200. No wonder he didn't get called up.

Badri had scored 426 runs @ 85.60 in 5 matches in Ranji trophy. He didn't get much chances but he performed well. Our selectors are dumb. They pick only those who are performing well atm and ignore the consistant performers. I doubt Badri will get a test cap. Hope i will be proved wrong.

Very true.

Chet Pujara, Badri, Jaffer, Wriddhi Saha- when will they include these guys in the main squad??? After their death? They are shouting youngsters! youngsters! and instead of giving our main young rockets a chance they are going with some craps like Rohit. When will they learn??

Kris Srikkanth is from TN.

Oh, and Jaffer is way over the hill, we don't need him.

And no way Saha will get in with Dhoni taking up that place. Karthik is the second best keeper-batsman in the country.

No When a selector comes from their state:D

By that theory, Badri should have been picked coz he is from Tamil Nadu and the chairman is from Tamil Nadu. In fact, I was so optimistic that Badri's fortunes might take an upward swing with Srikanth as the chairman (I dont mind regionalism if Badri is involved coz he deserves that bit of luck)
