Too much lovey dovey here. Let's start the trash talk shall we?

Last time, NZ were lucky enough to have bond and tuffey in the form of his life on a seaming pitch, but this time they have a crappy bowling attack. India should trash them.

Take it away boys.

I don't get why Tendulkar will play for the NZ masters side but won't for India. Strange.

Probably so he doesn't take up a youngster's spot in a format which doesn't really count for anything except when its the T20 World Cup. Or because he feels he can't make as big a contribution as he would like to.

Rohit Sharma sucks and so bad.
But Irfan is even bigger bugger.

I agree on this. I am hating Irfan these days for his ridiculously pathetic bowling. He is finished as a bowler and I cant see him coming back anywhere close to his best that we've seen.

He is playing that match for some practice before the ODI's. He is not playing the T20 because he feels that he doesnt fit anymore into the scheme of things for India's national side in T20's

He isn't playing at all now because Hamish Marshall (an ICL player) is playing.

Also Ian Healy hit a 6 then retired hurt lol.....

LOL that's awesome.

So wait Tendulkar ended up not playing after all? Goddamn BCCI!

T20's are nothing to go by, when it comes to the ODI/Test series'.
Just warm up games really.
I am expecting India to make NZ work very hard to win.
I expect India to win both ODI's and Tests, but I think it will be close.

Well with the form India is in atm I think NZ will have to work really hard to win 3 ODI games and Test matches will be tougher. They have the advantage because they're playing at home but look at SL they got thrashed at home by India.

Well, you asked for it. So far NZ are 1-0 up so until India start winning it may not be the best idea to say 'they'll trash them' etc.

One dayers I think NZ will have the upper hand, tests I don't think we have much chance.

Vettori won the toss and elects to bowl.... Ravindra Jadeja playing for Rohit Sharma!

Good decision by India, I should say. Though we are down by a specialist batsmen, Rohit Sharma has not been batting well at all and we dont mind having three allrounders (Yusuf, Jadeja and Irfan) and Harbhajan can bat too in this format. We have a better team today. Hope we win!

I was hoping for Praveen instead of Irfan TBH. We are still missing a specialist bowler. I don't consider Irfan as a specialist anymore. Oh well, hope he proves me wrong.

Sehwag GONE!! Again..... But this is his 'so-called' natural game.

Hope Gambhir can get in a bit and move the innings forward with Raina. We might do well today if we get to 160 odd because it is more bouncier than the previous game and its said to be more windier in this ground.

Edit: raina GONE!! What the heck was he trying, so soon? Damn it!

Edit: Gambhir's pathetic stay over!!! Yuvraj hits a six but is flirting with danger in big fashion. Over-confidence of being T20 champions has now fully engulfed these Indian batters.... Hope Dhoni brings in some sense of sanity here. T20 is not just slam bang. You get runs only when you have a method to it. I predict India will be bowled out for 125-130 odd and will lose here

That stumping was out for me. I can understand it not being given (due to grainy and not really up close images), but there was nothing behind the line from 2 of the angles. 1 of them confused it I think. There was no evidence of anything being grounded behind the line. Only on the line. But fair enough.

I felt the stumping was close, but it still was very doubtful and so the benefit rightly went to Jadeja

NZ is friggin' amazing with their fielding in the circle.... Cant get runs past them. 5 overs left, 97/5. We would be happy if we get 140 from here.
