look at it again, he is safe.

Bat ON THE LINE isn't safe. The commentators said it;s because the bail wasn't off on 1 end, but that's rarely ever the case. I've seen those given 90% of the time.

the rule says the bail has to be of completely, and dravid had his bat one the line or just over when the bail went of. the line belongs to the umpire he can give those out or not and imo he made the correct decision.

edit; it def looks like he had some of his bat behind the line.

Apparently they couldn't give the third umpire all the angles and the blown up one because it 'takes too long'

Disgusting. I'm sick of this crap where the ICC use technology but use bits of it and seem to care about speed as opposed to correct decisions. They don't care about speed with over-rates though, because they rarely enforce it.

Did you see the extra frame they showed after? The middle one which showed it convincingly? They showed one which was bat on line and bail fully off 100% confirmed it should have been gone.

There was no angle there in any replays that showed clear evidence to me that he was out.
too close to call.

Indian openers are already gone. Sehwag made another quickfire under 50 score. After the six he hit he hit a shot too many.

India needs at the moment 2 overs to survive till stumps.

Ishant Sharma, the nightwatchman, is out! 10 balls to go till stumps now. And Tendulkar has come out to bat.

Very immatured/irresponsible captaincy from Sehwag is what I can all say! Definitely, if we would have had Dhoni, the things would have gone in different way. I didn't see any attacking approach either while bowling. And whats the point in having SR > 100 in tests? Test match is the one where one has to maintain patience.. Viru could have easily scored 200+ only if he had that patience. That track was the one where players like Viru, Yuvi can enjoy more but since it's a test, patience is the key!

We need a partnership like the Ryder-Taylor , this is going to be a draw if Dravid is in mood to play 50 balls per run ;) joking,

Another inspirational performance by Virender Sehwag.

Well, on a positive note, that's Sehwag's highest score (34) out of about 10 innings (as an opener) in NZ & SA.

The run-out didn't cost us. Great bowling by Vettori and Patel. Stupid shots by the Indian openers you have to say though.

This partnership is the key obviously. Yuvraj (who has has a poor game thus far, drops, bad fielding, average bowling) and a newer player to come. They need runs from these 2. I think we're in with a chance here. Really excited!

So? If you still comparing Sehwag and Hayden let me remind you Hayden is retired 38 year old person from cricket, who at the moment is enjoying gardening or sitting on Lawn chair.

At the other hand Sehwag is still here, as a opener.
Tim McIntosh is still playing too, but it doesn't mean we rate him as a better batsman than Jason Gillespie.

Gardening? More like surfing and fishing. The retired 38 year old man scored twice as many 100's as Sehwag.

The only one that will be gardening is Virender Sehwag if he maintains this average of 12. Gardening to regrow his hair.

It's good to see NZ doing well. How good would it be to see New Zealand beat India by an innings. :D

Why do you have to bring Hayden in each and every thread.. Go to Never End topics forum and do that! When it goes beyond a limit, it's too much annoying.. What do you want? Hayden is best when compared to Bradman also.. No-one in this world ( was/will be) born to bat like Hayden, THE only BEST CRICKETER to know CRICKET. :rolleyes:Enough? :rolleyes:Don't bring Hayden in Ind-NZ thread anymore!

Wake up to yourself, son. I wasn't the one who brought Hayden into this thread.
