ruh roh karthiks gonna be batting, DONT DROP THE BAT! all in favor of duct taping the bat to his hands say AYE! AYE!

Good that Dravid got out avoiding another controversy, because he was out before (but not given).

Yuvraj fails again. Why is he in the team? We'll be far better with Badri instead.

Yes, the absence of Dhoni is making the difference. During bowling itself, I was not at all happy with Sehwag's captaincy.. Now the players getting out soon. What is Yuvraj doing in Test cricket? It's not the game which suits him.. Give Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, V. Kohli, Badrinath and Vijay a chance.. :upray Vijay is in the squad.. Hope either Karthik opens with Sehwag or Vijay opens with Sehwag in next test with Gambhir at 3.

Lets see how Karthik goes on here. I can remember his last great innings was in SA.. where he was going so fluently on SA soil. Lets hope he saves a match along with Laxman and get into the team instead of Yuvraj Singh in next crucial test. :upray

Speak some sense.. We are also in disappointments.. but this is not the format where we can pull those king of sixes and so-on. Yuvraj is just suitable for limited overs format. In tests, you need to implement the strategy rather than showing aggression & thats why tests are better than ODIs(to me atleast) because it's where you break your brain and implement a proper strategy!

May be we can call Yuvraj, an elite ODI batsman but a abysmal test player. :)

i am speaking some sense...some nonsense. UV is the king of sixers, i dont know what you are talking about.

Franklin to Laxman, 1 run, pushed through cover point to deep point. Just prior to the release the bat slipped out of Karthik's hand as he transferred it from left to right hand. He quickly recovered, picked it up and ran the single. wonder whether that would have distracted Laxman just when the bowler released the ball! karthiks not listening he should just duct tape the bat to his hand so he can avoid dropping everything he comes in contact with.

The latter part! I meant to say, he can't be a king of sixes in test! Test matches are not the formats where you can just keep hitting sixes.. More you spend time at the crease, better your temperament be.. Dravid is a perfect example.

And thats why I also want to see Vijay in next match. He has good temperament.

I really don't know what to say. :(

NZ have clearly outplayed us in every aspect and deserve the win. We do not deserve to draw from this point on.

I did think that the pitch should be easy to bat.. And it's still favoring the batsmen. But our batters somehow are refraining from maintaining the patience level. Viru, Gambhir, Sachin and Dravid -- All of these high rated starts got out in an unnecessary way! Though Dravid spent around 300 minutes, there was no necessary for that shot which was well wide enough from the stumps. Generally he leaves such kind of deliveries but I really wonder what made him to commit suicide that time

I think we do deserve to win. OUTSTANDING! Finally playing to our potential. Marto was brilliant and O'Brien cleaned the tail up nicely. Ryder's wicket and catching was also fantastic!

Enforcing the follow-on was the right move. We had to do it to win I believe and to keep India out of the game. Another wicket tonight would be GOLD! We have 50 minutes to do it. That's a handy amount of time.

India will need to bat the majority of the rest of the game. Probably beyond lunch on the last day. A tough ask but if any side can do it it's these batters.

When's the last time we enforced a followon. Must have been AGES. At least against non Zimbabwe/Bangladesh.

Our fielding, catching and captaincy was BRILLIANT. 200% improvement on the last test.

All Indian batsmen were giving catch practices like how Aussies and English people gave in yesterday's game :p I thought I was watching some EA cricket 07 when the ball was going like a catch practice :D No excuse for this loss. Irresponsibility and lack of patience is the cause and no excuse for this. Kiwis bowling and fielding was great to watch.

Our selectors needs to read this. I agree completely test is different from T20 and ODI not always the same person who had tons in ODI takes the same in Test . Badrinath is the guy who should have been in place of Yuvi

I am sorry but Sehwag is the biggest idiot to ever play international cricket.
