This is why India is not the world's no.1 team and probably not gonnabe if they continue like this.They lack a big factor to be no.1,something called 'consistency'.In one game they play like a dream team and in next like the biggest idiots around.

Yuvraj's commitment to the team is really doubtful because he meant to be the best fielder in the team and watch his fielding now.He's more selfcentric than a team player.He's playing safe to save his career by not fielding acrobatically like he did before.He is a fine batsman,just needs to show the temperament shown by Jesse Ryder.He is alway's in oneday mode.

Dhoni's absence is really showing now.Those who said Dhoni's good captaincy record is pure luck or because of great players he got,now look at the same team under Sehwag.

I think Munaf is actually not the right third pace bowler for India nor Balaji.Sreesanth or RP Singh is the right fit for that role.Sreesanth is injured but what happens to RP.In test cricket I think M.Vijay or Badrinath is more deserving than Yuvraj or R.Sharma.

Nah Vinod Kambli is the biggest idiot to ever play cricket. In all honesty Dhoni doesn't have a vice captain willing and able to take captaincy. No Ganguly, Dravid and tendulkar dont want it, Laxman and Yuvraj aren't the type so essentially we're stuck with Sehwag. Maybe Bhajji should've captained. I think this ends the Karthik mania. He's a bit like Haddin except worse as a keeper and no where near as explosive. But plays the same ugly shots to get out.

India have wriggled out of worser situations, and will need to draw in all the confidence that they can from their past feats. As someone said, if at all a team can come out of this, its this team.

The greatest soothing influence is Dravid's form. He has started reminding me of his prime form in the 2003-04's when he cracked centuries in 4 consecutive innings/games. The pitch is still a belter. I still back India to atleast save this test (we have won against Australia following-on but here, we have lesser time to play with)

Enough of Karthik! Yuvraj should soon be shown the door too. Sehwag will rectify himself. WE MISS DHONI!

This type of performance separates real fans from amateurs. Believe me If Sehwag had smacked that ball for a 6, then everyone would have said Oh what a shot, typical sehwag, instead of saying he's not playing according to the match situation.

This one is not over yet by a long stretch.None of the batsmen bar Yuvraj and Karthik have looked out of touch.So we still have hope left.

Dravid, Tendulkar, and Karthik (You watch ) will get us out of this mess. Dravid will stonewall all day for a hundred, Tendulkar will help, KKD will explode just before lunch tomorrow to get us a comfy 50-75 run lead before settling down again.

Inspite of India looking at a defeat, I will watch the game only for Dravid and Tendulkar (and to an extent, Laxman). Both have been batting very well in this series and I am confident that they can save India in this match.
