I agree, Bishnoi at seven is too risky of a ploy. Maxwell is being completely wasted too if he is supposed to come in at the end and they had plans to bring in Gayle, no idea where he slots in.

Gayle is not needed. The openers are the only thing working for Punjab. Parbhsimran is a better bet than Gayle. Also Gayle limits getting a foreign bowler in which is gold for Punjab. Karun Nair again given a short rope. Same with Sarfaraz.

Punjab's issue is bowling. Not batting. I did not understand Bishnoi bowling one over today for ages. Strike bowler, once in a while he will get stick. You have to back him.

This should be the side they play. I'm shocked Viljoen has not got a go yet and equally surprised at Porel's omission. This is a Sharjah XI and I would play Krishnappa Gowtham for sure in Dubai and Abu Dhabi at 7 for one Indian seamer.

Whoever plays needs a run. No point chopping and changing. Jordan got clattered, got dropped twice. And you can't bowl Gowtham in the 20th over and then drop him. It's just stupid.

With all that hype around how Maxwell would perform Pooran have come out of no where. This is some really great hitting from him today. Feel for Samad but he was really bowling in the slot so no wonder he got clattered. He is a decent bowler and would learn with experience for sure.
